Rocko5960
I play in a combined yardage and td league. We start 1 qb, 3 wr(Tight ends combined), 3 rb's, 1 pk & 1 def. Here's my roster: QB - Delhomme, Lienart RB - Tomlinson, Brown, Gore, J. Jones, L. White WR - Owens, Colston, Branch, Berrian, Gabriel I have been offerd Jennings and my choice of either M. Turner or Dillon for D. Gabriel & Lienart. Don't have too much confidence in Lienart with him being a rookie, drafted him for trade purposes. On the waiver wire in our league - Leftwich, Frye, Kitna, Vick, Culpepper & Pennington Should I make the deal and if I do which qb should I grab ? I'm leaning towards Leftwich so far. Any advice is greatly appreciated !
tomfin2000
Man, that's a STEAL. Take Jennings and M. Turner so you're covered if LT goes down and then pick up a QB. You've got plenty to choose from, but I would probably take Pennington. Then try to package either Pennington or Delhomme and one of your RBs for a BIG upgrade at QB. If you're worried about trading away a RB, let me ask you two questions: 1) Are you ever going to bench LT? 2) If LT gets injured are you ever going to bench Turner? In other words, you can afford to trade Brown, Gore, or Jones for an upgrade at QB. Edited October 3, 2006 by tomfin2000
