Blow Up My Team?!

I have been burned this week by Warner and Westbrook and lost by one point. I am strapped right now with Leinart and Warner and need to make some moves to cover my bye week with Housh and Chad being out. Here are my possibilities:

 

1. Drop Warner and Leinart and pick up Rivers and a WR fill-in for the week. Essentially, cutting my losses with the AZ QB siutation and not having to blow up my team.

 

2. Trade Warner/Leinart/Gore for Eli Manning and a #3 WR - that would leave me with Westy and Taylor as my RBs (no backups).

 

3. Trade Gore/Taylor/Chad for Eli and Portis. Too crazy for you?

 

4. Try to move Chad Johnson for a decent QB - Delhomme?

 

Lost two in a row and the magical Gore and Taylor start is not looking so hot anymore. Add in Chad's struggles and the Warner thing and I'm about ready to call it a year depsite my high point total. Any advice here would be much appreciated.

Ok, Let's look at each one:

1. As a Rivers owner, his schedule is so-so with Pit this week, then SF, KC, STL, CLE, @Cin, @Den, OAK, @Buf, Den, KC and @SEA. So he's got some good matchups and some tough ones, but I am holding onto to him. My other QB is Warner and Smith. And an FYI, Frye has a tougher road to hoe than Rivers if was to be available.

 

2. Eli and a #3 is tempting, but with Westy's injury history, I would be leery to not have another backup. So I think this may be too risky.

 

3. This one has potential, but I would seee if you can do a bit better for what you are giving up. I like Portis, but maybe there's a better option than Eli.

 

4. I think this one also has potential. However I think you can get a quality QB for Chad. Most folks are still enamored with him and should be willing to give a bit more than JD for him.

 

I would see what you can do with options 3 and 4 first. Start by asking high and see where that gets you and back down from there.

I agree with the above post regarding otpion 4. You could probably get a top notch QB, much better than delhomme, for C. Johnson. I would go that route first.

 

Option 3 isn't that bad either if the above option doesn't work

The guy who has Peyton has Ronnie Brown, T. Jones, and Michael Turner. I guess Jones could be an upgrade over Taylor and I wouldn't mind The Burner.

 

This would look something like a Peyton/T. Jones/Turner for C. Johnson/Gore/Taylor.
