redknightsgoingdown
My simple question is where is Roy Williams in the Wide Receiver watch article? He is scoring more than a few of the folks on the the top 10 chart and the "Climbing the Ladder" section... I just traded Fitzgerald for him because I actually think he will be a stud in that offense this year... decent QB, fast track, RB who is awakening, and an OC who likes to air it out.. thoughts? notamomo
I was wondering the same thing. Not surprised to see Driver move off the list, even though he is still producing and getting enough looks. But was very surprised tha R. Williams was not included. He is on the Lions though.....
giantsfan
I don't disagree but not enough spots I guess. Both Roy, 22 catches the last 3 games, and DD are worthy of being up there. In a "bad" game last night DD went 5 for 50. He also dropped a sure TD and another 10 or so yard gain on a slant. But he got a TON of looks. My overall point is just not enough spots for all the high quality WR's this year. Edited October 3, 2006 by giantsfan
Primetime9287
Roy will be up there soon. He has a very nice stretch of games all the way up until he plays the Bears in Week 16.
ABearWithFurniture
He has a very nice stretch of games all the way up until he plays the Bears in Week 16. From the way Chicago is blowing teams away and winning, he may only be facing the Bear's 3rd/4th stringers by then...
yo mama
I agree. The Lions had two tough matches in Weeks 1 and 2, and Roy nevertheless has emerged as a top 10 WR to-date in pretty much every format.
