The numbers place Ben Roethlisberger as a top 10 fantasy QB from a points per game standpoint in 2005. That's what the numbers say, and you can twist that however you see fit. If that's average to you, great.

 

 

My local has 12 teams, so even if I could magically apply your frequently touted PPG over the whole season rather than only to the games he actually played, having the 10th best QB means two teams had a worse starting QB than I did. So I consider that considerably below average.

 

Average to me would mean he was in the middle of the pack, so unless you are in a 20 team league......... :D

Wow! this thread is still going on. I would be disapointed if he was my starting QB. The way I see it in a 12 team league with 1 starter at a position if the player is not in the top 6 then he is hurting me and at #10 he's really hurting me and I'm looking for change. But yea, I wouldnt mind having him as a backup.
