sit. I think he tried to practice for the rest of the week and doesn't get any healthier and they sit him to save him for the rest of the way. Or he plays because next week is their bye. Hmmm...I'm still saying sit.

Thats what im wishing...

I want to start his backup. MAYBE

Ahman Green: Expected to Play Sunday

Update: Coach Mike McCarthy said Wednesday that he expects Green's hamstring to be healed enough to allow him to play this weekend, the Packers' official site reports.

Recommendation: McCarthy believes Green's hamstring troubles are a residual effect of coming off a severe quadriceps injury from last season. "Frankly I was surprised he didn't play Monday night," McCarthy said. "I'll be surprised if he doesn't go this week." Assuming Green is available this week, the Packers plan to spell him with Vernand Morency who rushed for 99 yards in Week 4.

According to McCarthy, from now it'll be RBBC in Green Bay with Green & Morency.

I saw an article referring to that but do you have anything that definitive from McCarthy....I mean with Green's injury issues, it is pretty obvious they probably want to rotate Morency in more, but will this turn into a full blown 50/50 RBBC if Green can somehow stay healthy?

This is the only quote I found from Mcarthy on Morency...

"The turnover is the black eye in his performance, but he put his foot down and ran and made good decisions," McCarthy said. "He bounced the ball a couple of times when the opportunity presented itself. But you can see him, he wasn't totally comfortable in some spots, but I thought he ran tough, I thought he played hard. He stuck his nose in there in pass protection, so we'll continue to roll him in there."

Green Bay - Green Bay -The Green Bay Packers were encouraged by what they saw Monday night from newcomers Vernand Morency and Brandon Miree to continue with the running back and fullback as major role players in the offense.

Not that they have much choice at running back at the moment, anyway.

After looking stable in individual drills, Ahman Green did not participate in a complete practice again Thursday for the second consecutive day. He missed the Philadelphia game Monday with two injured hamstrings. This is the third consecutive week Green has missed some practice time because of injury.

"He did a little bit," offensive coordinator Jeff Jagodzinski said. "He'll be fine."

Green's absence left the bulk of the practice workload to Morency. In his second National Football League start, Morency impressed the Packers with 26 carries for 99 yards against the Eagles.

Running back Ahman Green (questionable, hamstring) participated in team work Friday and is expected to play Sunday against the Rams.

Fantasy owners should still be cautious about using Green this week, especially since RB Vernand Morency may play a larger role in the offense. Green missed practice Wednesday and Thursday to rest his hamstring.
