ROCKNE
Is Maroney worth either Steve Smith or Holt? Maybe I could get him to throw in Gabriel? I need help at RB . Here is my team.. QB- Brady Grossman RB Alexander Chester Taylor Cedric Benson Norwood Maurice Drew-Jones Maurice Morris WR Holt Smith Wayne Jennings Colston Furrey TE Heap K - Wilkins
pzarvell
He might be when all is said and done, but at this point I see no way you could justify trading arguably the #1 or #2 WR to get him at this point.
andy65
I'm very high on Maroney..trying to work a deal for him in my league. With that said, you've got a ton of WR depth, so moving one of them isn't going to kill you. Question is do you think Maroney is worthy of Smith or Holt? If he does more of what we saw last week, I'd say yes. How much is Dillion going to hinder Laurance's touches is the unknown right now. Everyone seems to think Dillion's carries will begin to fall as the season progresses. Me too. I would try to give him Colston or Jennings first. If he doesn't bite, I'd hold off another week. If Maroney shines again this week, you can always go back to the offer. The guy is already asking for your No.1 wideouts, so how can he up the anty if Maroney has another strong performance...another week helps you make a better decision weather it's a fair deal. Check out my post please...
ROCKNE
Anyone else?
mls13
I agree with Andy, very well put. I love Maroney, the guy is just going to get better and better. That said, I think Smith/Holt is over paying in a 1-for-1. You have the WR depth to deal away, but I wouldget him to toss in someone else in return. Gabriel isn't a bad call. Maybe make it a 2 for 2 and give him someone with upside like Drew. You know, you're not bad off at RB at all with Alexander and Taylor. Maybe you can get him to bite on Benson? That guy's worthless. Grits and Shins
SSmith or Holt for a half time RB? Guess it all comes down to whether or not you believe he can continue to excel like he has with limited touches. For me personally I probably don't trade away a consistent stud like SSmith or Holt for a guy getting limited touches with only 3 weeks NFL experience. Now if it were a dynasty/keeper league ... Rockerbraves
this may look funny a few weeks from now BUT NO WAY!
gd74
#1 WR no way ....but you can easily get a #2 reciever for him....easily at this point... look at all the disappointments there are in the running game right now from a fantasy perspective.... S. Alexander is out, C. Williams in Missing in Action, Westbrook all banged up, C. Taylor suspect against Bills defense last week, the list goes on and on.....I dont know how many WR's you have to start.....but in my league we have to start three WR and only two RBs.... I rather have two stud WRs....then a bunch of backs that are question marks !!!!!
ROCKNE
Thanks everyone. I'll back off on this one unless I can get Maroney and Houshmanzeh then would it be good?
