LightsOutTerp
Other than his opponent, I can't figure out why prognosticators are so high on him this week. Can any homers provide insight? I mean he just had a good game, for once but they're acting like he is a must start. I predict he and DeAngelo will get rushing yards but I'm thinking it will be something like 90yds/60yds with one of them finding the end zone. I don't think he's a must start though over other #2 RBs.
Rockerbraves
A few years back he was considered an up and coming great FF player, however he was injured. So I think that has alot to do with any semi good news bringing him up as a potential must play guy.

I don't think he's a must start though over other #2 RBs. I think he moves to the head of the #2 RB pack, based on what you just said: his match-up. They should have an early lead in this game, and should want to control the clock. He seems like a better option to me than KJ (@ MIN), Ahman, Willis (@ CHI) , Ronnie (@ NE), Bell (vs BAL)etc. I'd probably rank him as the 10-12th best RB this week, behind the studs, but near the top of the next level. I don't think he's a must start though over other #2 RBs. vs. CLE? On the road last week vs. OAK, CLE allowed Jordan and a guy named Justin Fargas to run for 182yds. They allowed a 59 and 49 yarder. Foster is still getting carries 2:1 versus DeAngelo. This is probably Carolina's worst opponent thus far on the season... TB played them tough on the road but it was division game. Judging from CLE's run D on the road this season (Rudi shredded 'em big time in week 2), Foster should put up nice numbers for a RB2. if I were desperate for a starter at RB2 I'd probably even take a shot on DeAngelo this week even with the reduced carries. SeductiveNun
if I were desperate for a starter at RB2 I'd probably even take a shot on DeAngelo this week even with the reduced carries. That's a situation I know all too well, with Droughns, Williams, Chris Brown, and Leon Washington. I'm rolling the dice on DeAngelo to get some mop up duty this week. PantherDave
Foster will destroy the Browns this week, as before Smith the line was stacked, and now with Smith's return the DT has know idea what is coming. This plays into the Carolina O hands and the running game benefits from this scenario-Foster goes Hugh this Sunday.

I'm rolling the dice on DeAngelo to get some mop up duty this week. deangelo is basically my only option as a #3 this week without shaun...so i have to play him...this looks like one of the best possible matchups to have if you need to start him...hell i had to start him last week...and he did just enough to get me the W
myhousekey
I just keep getting this bad feeling its going to be D Williams turn this week to rack up the numbers.... (Note, I have both and will only be starting Foster)

(Note, I have both and will only be starting Foster) the 2:1 split in favor of Foster doesn't seem to be changing anytime soon. yeah DeAngelo is outperforming Foster in ypc but I think Fox is willing to ease his rookie into a starting role... as long as Foster stays healthy and they're winning games. those 2 conditions may change at anytime but that certainly is the current status. Redzone Rowdie
My prediction is D'Quell Jackson takes out Foster by halftime, and we get to see the DeAngelo Williams era begin!
