Primetime9287
Didnt see it yet but he came off and took his shoulder pads off...
Randall
Smoot tackled him and then Sharper hit him(to the head or shoulder) as he was going to the ground. Didn't look like a cheap shot.

Randall
They said he got an elbow to the neck and it looks like he's out. They lost an o lineman as well.

Primetime9287
FOXSports.com reports Detroit Lions WR Roy Williams (back) suffered a back stinger during the Week 5 game and was questionable to return.
Randall
Any Updates? They haven't said a word. I think he's out. He took an elbow to the back of the neck forcing his head down. It doesn't look like they want to take a chance playing him. Will update when they say something.
giantsfan
Interesting. Now I didn't see it but that doesn't sound like anything that bad, but again I didn't see it.
Mystykoekaki
it didnt look that bad, almost surprised he didnt go back in yet.
Primetime9287
Maybe he can return after half time. A .7 effort would really hurt, especially when Colston only has 8 yards also.

giantsfan
I have no info but at this point I'd be shocked if he was back. He was hurt early in the game so if he was going to come back he'd be back before the half I think. Ursa Majoris
Fox say he will NOT return. And, FWIW, that was most definitely a cheap shot from Sharper.
giantsfan
The only good thing is it doesn't sound that serious so I would expect he'd play next week unless something more comes of it.

giantsfan
1:08 p.m: Roy Williams got popped in the back of the head by Darren Sharper and had to leave against the Vikings in Week 5, but he was laughing as he left the field. What did I tell you about Roy???
kpholmes
Ugh... One reception for less than 10 yards... Thanks for the one point Roy... I could have started Lee Evans.
