Mojo Rising
Now Im only leading by 13 pts going into tomorrow with the other guy having McNair and Heap. I could of used that last TD he "could of" had on their last posession. aaaaaaaaaaggggggghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
joethin
I'm so sick of this $%!?. I'm down by 15 pts and I have Heap left to play tomorrow... who I'm not even sure is going to play.

I'm down 11, but i'm in exactly the same boat as you. I feel really bad for LT owners in non-PPR leagues. We knew LT was going to lose trashtime carries, but these last two weeks haven't been trashtime. This has the potential to spell trouble for LT owners. I still am very happy with my 3rd overall pick this year. Count your blessings, because LT is going to have a better year than all other RBs i believe. kraftykraft
So Shaun Alexander is out for the next 5-6 weeks, Larry Johnson has been inconsistent and got injured today (might be a mild neck sprain, might be something more serious), and LT is being platooned to death. Sucks to have the first 3 draft picks this year...

Rivers has started to figure out the passing game and Turner is going to chew up a lot of the rushing load. From the evidence of tonight, LT2 is being used in a kind of third down back role. piratesownninjas
You guys fail to realize that its a marathon, not a sprint... LT will be fresh come playoff time...

LT2 was on the field all day against a very stout DEF. LT2 was pulling alot of coverage and opening things up for Turner. LJ might be injured, but more importantly, has been very inconsistant. Brees had the passing game pretty well figured out too. Not to mention his 8 catches. He's got great stats and already had his bye week. LooGie
Third down back role = mostly receiving, not rushing so much. your idea of a 3rd down back role is mostly receiving? I'm not sure i agree with that. I see the 3rd down back role as a powerful big back that runs right between the tackles (on 3rd and short of course) or a nice change up back with a different style of running than the primary back. I think Turner was the change up guy providing the change of style, as well as getting the yards due to LT drawing plenty of coverage. Whatever, if it continues like we saw tonight, Johnson will be the better back to own, IMO. I certainly wouldn't let Turner park his rear on the bench all game, I'd give him 15 carries a game and also leave Tomlinson out there too. This is bound to cut into LT2's numbers, though. Chargerz
Turner will continue to cut into LT's numbers all season long. Turner is just too good to keep on the bench. After the opposing defense is on the field for awhile and beginning to get a little tired, Marty plans to use his fresh legs to pummel them. I could see it in tonight's game---> Turner was running over guys and making them miss primarily because he was stronger when it counted in the second half. Get used to it. Marty loves the "Burner". Had LT last year and this is exactly why I ranked him this year as the #3 overall RB behind Alexander and LJohnson...f'n Martyball
