Jumpin Johnies
KFFL) Randy Lange, of the Bergen Record, reports New York Jets RB Curtis Martin has been impressed by rookie RB Leon Washington this year. "I just think Leon's a player with tremendous talent," Martin said. "What stands out most to me is his instincts. That's what you look for in a running back, someone who runs to daylight without thinking about it. That's the type of player he is." Martin also added that Washington is "that Leon's definitely a student. He listens well. He's good at taking things from the classroom to the field. He's one of those guys who does exactly what you tell him to do. And the good thing is that while he's doing it, he doesn't lose his creativity."
