Any homers can comment on this and the possibility of jail time and/or additional NFL suspensions? I'd like to keep him although with 4 players on bye (Wayne, Juervicious, Gabriel & Reggie Williams) and Henry - suspended so I just got TO and Keyshawn to play this week and we play 4 WR...so will suck. Also do you think that should K.Washington assume Henry's spot that he would be able to hold on to it even though Henry comes back in wk 8? You hate to just let a guy like this go with all the potential but what the hell. I think Palmer likes and trusts Washington. I think I would rather have him than Henry right now and moving forward. rebdog Posted October 12, 2006 Share Posted October 12, 2006 I had Henry in my keeper league last year. I had high hopes and he didn't disappoint until all the legal trouble late in the year. He really messed up my lineup in the finals. In the offseason I decided he wasn't worth the trouble. And even though he's put up some TDs this year, I'm not regretting it. One thing you need in FF are players you can count on week in and week out. That doesn't mean they'll produce every week, but you need consistency in your lineup. Henry doesn't allow for that. The Irish Doggy Posted October 12, 2006 Share Posted October 12, 2006 Well, if Henry plays or doesn't play it won't be because Washington "held him off" with actual gameplay. The team isn't very high on Washington, and neither are the fans - mostly because of the absolute worst TD celebration dance ever. Its like Elaine dancing from Seinfeld. It hurts to watch. I suspect he will be back as the #3 WR sooner than later, but how long until he runs in with the law again? He didn't learn the first 5 times.
