Leinart or Rivers...

I think I'd say Leinart, their schedules appear similar to me based on a quick look at them, but I think Leinart has better receivers, and with no offensive line the running game may never get on track, so I'd expect him to throw PLENTY as the season wears on. Rivers has TWO good RB's behind him now, and Marty is only asking him to manage games at this point I think, they're more balanced so there will be less need for him to throw all day long.

The Chargers Defense is playing at a very high level right now... add into that, the fact that San Diego has pretty much the best RB tandum in the league, and I think that will mean less production from Rivers (even though I think he is the better QB of the two).

Leinart will be playing from behind more often and will be throwing to the talented Arizona receivers a lot more than Rivers will be throwing.

RIVERS....no doubt.

he's not a rookie. bottom line. Leinart looks promising but they have Oline problems, struggle running the ball and Fitzgerald is out. Not good for any rookie no matter how promising he may be.

Rivers already looks to be in command out there. I'm biased, but I know what I've seen. Rivers has talent around him and knows the system. And passes to LT2 count on Rivers' stats.
