tbimm
Seems like he put up decent stats and didnt turn the ball over. Just wondering how you feel he will do. He was an unknown but looked very good. I'm sure with some tape teams will find a way to stop him. Very mobile and accurate with his passes. Looks like he will be around a while and yes I watched the entire game! Just have to see in the next couple of weeks how much unfamiliarity played a role in his success.? Chief Dick
Honestly, he throws about as effectively as a lawnmower on water skis.
gilthorp
I saw this kid play two years ago. http://forums.thehuddle.com/index.php?showtopic=75522&hl= He had total command in college. He can make the throws. Game film vs. experience...I think he'll be forced to throw a lot and he'll put up some decent fantasy number this week. I have no doubt that he has a higher ceiling than Simms...but that's not saying much.
broncosn05
Watched it on NFL Replay. He's pretty good, but for anyone wondering Caddilac is back!!!!!!
DFox
This kid's definately got a future in Tampa. He's big, strong and very mobile - something we haven't had in a long time. Pretty strong arm and some touch to go with it. Layed it right in the breadbasket on the long one to Galloway last week against the Saints. He had a great pre-season. Came in to relieve Simms in week 2 and looked pretty shakey. However, now that he's got the keys and the fact that Cadillac is running more effectively - he should be productive. I think he's a good bye week start today vs. Cincy. Cool, calm and clear here today in Tampa. Perfect weather for our first win. Oh, but that would require the once lofted Tampa Bay D to make a few stops.
xMRogers
He's a 6th rounder making his second start in his possibly 5th game against a team that makes a living on turnovers - regardless of his talent, odds are stacked. Then, he plays the timing game a lot - works fine against teams that aren't ball hawking....i see a few picks today though. I also see this - an early pick returned for a TD that takes the heart out of the Bucs who are saying all the right things but you can tell there's an air of desparation that's going to lend itself to a quicksand like game - one mistake, and everyone will try a little harder...leading to the next mistake, and everyone will try a little harder.... Diff between the Bucs and most of the other crappy teams right now - the others know they aren't at the level of the opponent, so they play their game, try to take what's coming to them and will get a few wins here an there. Right now, the Bucs (probably for the last game this year) still think they are an elite team that's just not on all cylinders, but that's causing them to lose cause instead of just saying "hey, maybe we're not that good - we should focus on just playing right" they are focusing on winning and i can sense an ugly game coming today.... xMRogers
Oh - meant to add - he's a decent 3rd QB prob. rest of the year, with a start here and there possible. In deep keeper/dyansty, he's definitely someone to get - Gruden will have him running in 5, throwing in 25 in 2 years.
