CD6405
No, now he's an a-hole. 31-7, they go for it on 4th down...in the 4th quarter.
Chavez
Roethlisberger still playing, challenging a clear td up 31-0, and trying to pound in a 4th-and-goal td up 24 with a quarter to go... ...is there any particular reason the Steelers would want to stick it to the Chiefs? And if he kicked the FG, you'd probably say he was an ass for that too. I'm not a big Cowher fan, but I see nothing wrong with the choices you're about. Chavez
So, now they aren't winning it the proper way. You people crack me up. Get off the cross, somebody could probably use the wood. It just seems that staying aggressive on a team they are CRUSHING isn't the standard Cowher m.o. It's like he's been possessed by the spirit of Jerry Glanville or something. Can't think of any reason. Ben needs the work. Why kick a FG? Or did you want him to take a knee?
Sigalf03
Roethlisberger still playing, challenging a clear td up 31-0, and trying to pound in a 4th-and-goal td up 24 with a quarter to go... ...is there any particular reason the Steelers would want to stick it to the Chiefs? Not that I can think of. Probably just trying to get the team and fans pumped up and spirits up. Although its pretty stupid if you ask me. Leaving you QB who has had multiple surgeries before the season in when the game is over. They are surely enjoying them selves today as they should be, but maybe just a little too much. Chavez
Get a grip. It's a 3+ score cushion vs a team that hasn't been able to do anything all day. I think it's a legit question, but if you want to indulge your persecution complex instead of giving an actual REASON like the other Steeler fans were more than willing to, hey, it's a free country last time I looked - go right ahead. Teams have come back from deficits in the past, crazy things can happen, why not keep playing ??? Is that good enough for you.

Squeegiebo
It's a 3+ score cushion vs a team that hasn't been able to do anything all day. Well, San Diego had negative yards in the first quarter last week (i.e., wasn't able to do a thing all day) and look how that turned out. Never underestimate the Steelers' ability to give away a lead. Edited October 15, 2006 by Squeegiebo

Menudo
Yeah, just look at that explosive Chiefs offense. You are a fun guy to argue with. Do you agree that if the Steelers took everyone out, and the Chiefs made a 'Frank Reich Bills over Oilers' type comeback that people would rip Cowher for not continuing to play ?
