FishFreak
I just can't believe the Dolphins are 1-5 at this point. It's not like they are playing elite NFL teams either. We just can't get it going and it's starting to look like we'll be getting a high draft pick next year. Harrington did look better than C-Pep especially in the 4th quarter although he threw two more picks. He's not taking sacks and getting the ball out quickly with the short stuff. Ronnie Brown finally had a 100 yard day and looked good as well. At the end of the day, we moved the ball but could only match our highest point total to date this year.....17 measly points. Where is the explosion? When will we light up the scoreboard? Does Mularkey have any big plays in his playbook? I'm disgusted and bitter as hell. Maybe my expectations were out of whack for this year but the Bills, Texans and Jets have no business beating this team. Am I out of line or are the Dolphins among the worst teams in the NFL right now?

Was it you that was talking about their easy schedule after week 1?
CaptainHook
That last third down pass Harrington threw was crap. If the ball had been anywhere near the WR, he might have got a PI penalty. The DB was all over him, but the ball sailed about 15 feet over his head. He looked pretty good in the fourth with the Jets playing soft coverage. But that's really not saying much. pedroz13
Saban is pissed off all the time. I wonder if he is going to pull a Spurrier and call it a season mid-year? I don't really think that would happen, but 1-5 with that schedule is ridiculous. Where are all the Dolphins fans claiming the CPEP trade was the greatest thing of all time? I remember seeing their posts in the off-season....interesting.

Jimmy Neutron
The thing that really sticks out to me is that Saban is blaming his team rather than himself.
Rovers
I think the strong finish the Phins had last year against a lot of weak teams inflated expectations. The Miami O line is not a good unit, but against even a very weak pass rush like the Jets offer, it still breaks down. Brown behind a good O line should have racked up 150 yards. On defense, while I like aggresive attack philosophies, Saban gets carries away. When you blitz all the time, even an offense like the Jets will find a way to burn you on it sooner or later. Miami needs to have a little more balance on D, and blitz a little less often. They have the pass rushers to create pressure without having to blitz all the time and leaving a very mediocre D backfield hung out to dry when the blitz does get picked up. Saban's creativity on D is becoming predictable. I also think you need to reaccess teams like the Bills and Jets that aren't as bad as you think they are. Miami is right there with those two teams.... rebuilding and trying to plug many holes in the existing talent pool.
