DMD
Hmm... Maurice Morris was good insurance though that policy is not covering the cost of the original. SEATTLE -- Seahawks coach Mike Holmgren said running back Shaun Alexander will be out at least two more weeks with a broken bone in his left foot. Holmgren said Alexander is walking around without pain, but the team wants to make sure the crack mends so it doesn't re-break and require surgery. Alexander injured the foot in the season opener at Detroit.
Ursa Majoris
So much for my plan to drop Morris this week to get a bye week WR.
montster
so much for thinking yesterday was my last chance to start maurice morris in the MVP challenge (which, unfortunately, i did).
Bill Swerski
Hmm... Maurice Morris was good insurance though that policy is not covering the cost of the original. While Morris isn't exactly on the same tier of talent as Alexander, it's worth noting that SEA's O-line has been doing a relatively poor job of run-blocking this season. SEA is being overly-cautious with SA, as they should be. They invested a ton of money in this guy.

SA has the easiest playoff schedule, if he can be had real cheap, especially after this news, i'd still make a play on him if i were a playoff bound team. Agreed that now is the time to trade for him. But you're not going to get the same production as last season. Not even close.
CaptainHook
I don't think he'll be back after two weeks. Foot injuries are notoriously tricky. I ain't buying it.

Primetime9287
I dont mind him sitting out this week vs. Minny, but I would really like him to return after that game. Thats when his schedule becomes "veery nice" *Borat Voice*
Avernus
I've thought about trading for him........but then I remembered he was one of the players I wanted to avoid before the season even started
Crispy
So much for my plan to drop Morris this week to get a bye week WR. Same situation here. This year just keeps getting crappier and crappier.

Me too. At least he's out of the way now and I didn't burn a stud like LT for instance.

Chief Dick
Funny thing is everyone is talking about LJ being the biggest 1st round bust: at least LJ is playing every week. Now I know SA is "hurt", but LJ has busted his ass every week and has not complained one bit. I'll take him any day.

If you are a team that could hold onto Alexander while he was hurt, I think he can be more valuable down the stretch.

He was a top 3 pick across the board, and you're saying he's somebody you wanted to "avoid"? I'm not buying this statement Einstein.

CaptainHook
Whaddya want? I didn't realize you have Thomas Jones. You're not hurting at RB.
Swampnuts
I didn't realize you have Thomas Jones. You're not hurting at RB. I'm just going to chalk up a loss next week. I've got Bulger, Jones, and 3 of my 4 receivers on byes. I'd have to revamp my entire team just to post a full lineup.
