Cyclones Posted October 17, 2006 Share Posted October 17, 2006 Wow. I went into this game up 15 points, with my opponent holding the tiebreaker. I had Holt and Portis and their big games, and he had Willie Parker, McNabb, and Ronnie Brown. He had Muhammad and Rackers going tonight (he benched Roy Williams ). Anyway, the game starts out okay, 2 quick Cardinal TDs, 2 points for Rackers. But then he tags on 2 FGs in the 2nd Quarter (one of them from 41 yards, which was a 4 pointer.) So he's got 9 points at halftime. I'm pretty sure I'm screwed at this point, but I had a little work to do, so I stayed up watching the game working on my laptop. Rackers kicks another in the third, and I'm all but done, he needs only 3 more points for the win. Then the game started going my way.....crazy turnovers, neither team can get anything going offensively...when the Cardinals punted late, I said to myself, a Hester TD here would be huge, no way can the Cards get back into scoring position. Low and behold, he houses it. I'm going crazy, a win leaves me tied for 1st place. Then I have to sit back and watch the Bear D soften up and let Leinart take them to the 23 . Now I'm kicking myself saying, damn, I stayed up an extra hour plus to watch this guy beat me live? They start showing how great Rackers is at ending games, I'm pissed.....and it leaks wide!!
