"Coach Art Shell expects Jerry Porter and Randy Moss to remain Raiders. Shell said he hasn't ruled out the possibility of Porter playing for the Raiders this season."

 

 

Clearly Art values team chemistry.

I cannot believe OAK did not deal Porter. I just can't believe it.

 

God, can you imagine how pissed off Porter is tonight? He's probably already thinking up ways to piss Al Davis off, knowing that he's there for another year. Oh man.

 

Porter is EASILY worth a 3rd round draft pick and pretty easily a 2nd. Why not just let him go? TB? ATL? MIA? KC? SF? HOU? JAX?

you could make a case for all of them to want him. Gruden could handle him no problem, and they're getting desperate.

ATL still has a chance at a good season, and he could put them over the top.

SF and HOU are reaches, but sure, after passing on Bush, they could've made a move for a high impact player, just to save face.

JAX has a real shot at a great year and play off run, he could've put them over the top easily.

Why keep a player like that around? WHY?

because no team made a 2nd or 3rd rd offer, or at least they haven't said publicly that a single team made a trade offer since February, when him and his agent were granted permission to find one.
