ESPN should sign Barkley

Barkley was OK.

I don't know about you guys, but I can't stand Kornheiser.

I know Joe Theisman's an idiot. I don't need someone placed on the MNF crew to point it out every third comment.

Barkley is great...loved him as a player and love him as an analyst. Korny should stick to PTI...

I like PTI, maybe they could get rid of Theisman and bring in Wilbon...

i suggested that the other week.. kornheiser and wilbon would be pretty funny together. and that wasnt even the real barkley on espn. you should watch him on tbs. he says it like it is and doesnt care who is listening. pretty funny most of the time.

Its a really sad broadcast team whenever Mike Tirico is the best thing going.

This is true. Tirico sounds way better than the other two buffoons put together.

On another note, how did an intelligent articulate man like Steve Young get saddled with those three cretins he has to share a table with? Jeez, those three are just horrible. They do nothing but shout over each other.

:D Note to Berman and his rabble: I know it was a good game, I watched the damn thing. I want some informed non-hysterical analysis, not a screaming match. Same goes for you, Salisbury, you di(k.

Thank god for the Sunday night pre-game.

Barkley made a big difference imo listening to the "crew" last night.

I'd like to see him back and maybe a surprise guest every week, to muffle out Kornhoe and Thyroid

I enjoyed seeing him and hearing a few things he had to say, however I thought he over stayed his welcome. Seemed like he was up there for at least a quarter of the game.

I thought Kornheiser's opening monologue about the Bears was brilliant. He gets annoying with the fantasy league stuff, but I don't see why people hate him so much and there has to be a thread every week about him (this one is disguised as a Barkley thread of course). I also liked where Kornheiser pinned Theisman down when Joey T seemed to be contridicting himself about the Cardinals running the clock/being aggressive.

If the MNF is that bad and you simply can't deal with it, cut on the radio or read a book.

MNF was the first time I actually enjoyed listening to what Chuck had to say. I've never liked him on TBS; he's usually constantly interrupting everyone and generally being a loud mouthed jackass. On MNF he seemed more restrained. However, I can't image him having much to add on a weekly basis.
