Detfed91
You guys read about this? I am going to the game this weekend, not in one of the cities listed, but it still makes me a little nervous... Sucks that you have to worry about this kind of crap... http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=2631048 Edited October 18, 2006 by Detfed91
CD6405
It's just me, but I don't think real terrorist would announce where they will be dropping their bombs. It's just me, but that seems to eliminate the element of suprise.
Skippy
It really does suck but this is what terrorist do. All we can do is hope that our intelligence is at least one step ahead.
CD6405
They are planning to bomb some of the worst teams in the league.
Furd
I also hear that they have threatened to hit my house with a meteor.
Randall
Anyone can make threats but how credible are they? Are these people even terrorists or just some idiots that like to scare people? How often were airports emtied due to bomb threats? Is this different than that? The FBI also expressed doubt about the threat. "While the credibility of the threat is questionable, we have passed the information on because it has been carried in some open source reporting," said FBI spokesman Richard Kolko. He said the FBI was discussing the threat with the NFL as "part of our routine discussions this week." My advice is be careful but don't alter your fun due to a dumb threat. gd74
If you change or alter your plans then you are letting them win !!! If you dont go and have an awesome time at the game... you are letting them win !!! Go and enjoy yourself...have a blast and a beer for me !!! Have faith in the fact that all necessary precautions are being taken because of the threat but I see it being some idiot with too much time on his hand making the threat !!! heehawks
I'm going to the game, having a great time with my pops, drinking three or four big beers, and watching my team crush the Vikings. The only thing that sucks is that it will be in the back of everyone's minds. I won't let it instill fear, but it is now a small added element that shouldn't even exist. Eagle2003
Apparently terrorists have never been to an NFL game before. How do they expect to drive a truck up near a stadium when the tailgaters are there 5 hours before gametime taking up the good spots. Not to mention, nobody will be able to park a vehicle anywhere close to the stadium in any city I have ever attended a game. F the terrorists, they are weasels.
