LightsOutTerp
With Jamal getting vocal and and Billick taking over OC duties, I can see them trying to commit to him a little more. I'd use the 1st game after the bye week to really judge him. But, my prediction isn't based on any type football logic. It's based more on my bad luck as I dropped him before the announcement. Tough for me to drop a RB of his caliber in week 6.

Didn't say it was the right thing to so, just tough to do. It's depends on what you are getting by dropping him.

Its only tough to drop him because most people either gambled and took him in the 2nd, or thought they were getting a steal in the 3rd. Unfortunately, he really isnt worth more then a bye week filler.

gd74
Yes he wants to get more carries.... His quote was something to the effect of that he is the kind of back who needs 20-25 carries a game to wear down a defense with his punishing style of running... he was pissed that in the Carolina game he had a 16 yard run and they took him out of the next play. I was all set to drop him....then he cried....it worked for TO...so maybe it will work for him....I will wait until after the bye week to see what he does...other than that he is just dead weight !!!! LightsOutTerp
I've only seen a few games but he doesn't hit the holes hard any more. Not to say they're even creating holes for him - their Oline is definitely sucking. But a typical run by Jamal these days are tippy-toeing in the backfield waiting for something to develop and getting tackled for a loss by 2 or 3 defensive linemen. If nothing was there, he used to slam into the cracks and keep his legs churning for 2-3 yds. I also think his alleged "hobbies" are affecting him physically and mentally
MERLINS
I agree with Lightsoutterp, I have only seen him in one game this year so far and he doesn't hit any holes to speak of, he is tip toeing his balls off and looks like a clown. I even saw him tip toe his way to the side line a couple times a couple of weeks ago, Anderson will show him how to pound it home.

From what I've seen of Anderson who is going to show him how to pound it home.
major-tom
I was all set to drop him....then he cried....it worked for TO...so maybe it will work for him... Not a great analogy, as TO still has talent and has more talent around him.
