Randall
Must suck to live in the "white" areas! Thank God for the SUNDAY TICKET!! San Francisco's one of those. I would think everyone gets some kind of coverage.
CowboysDiehard
San Francisco's one of those. I would think everyone gets some kind of coverage. Could be. The deal is in the home market when your team plays at home, you get stiffed on the double header. In other words, you still get an early and a late game, you just don't get the third game. Never bothered me until I moved up here to CO (While I lived in TX, only cared to watch the Cowboys and Oilers, and had no clue what FF was). Then the Donkeys would be on the same time as Dallas, and even though the Boys were part of an advertised "doubleheader", the game wouldn't be shown. Thus...hello DIRECTV. Now, I'm really unclear on how all that works. My new pet peeve is that CBS doesn't broadcast all their games in HD like Fox does. What a thankless bastard I am! cmoore
it's funny if you look at the first game on Fox this week there is a green blob in Mississippi for the Packers/Dolphins game...the Favre effect. I am not sure why the same green blob in southern Oregon though

What a thankless bastard I am! so that's why sunday ticket superfan doesn't have all the games in HD every week. i didn't notice they were always CBS games. i was pissed because i pay for superfan and always there are games i want to see in HD that are broadcast only in SD. Me too. I think it's crap that they aren't all in HD.
CowboysDiehard
Not only is it crap..I have a 52" HD monitor (1080i). And if they aren't in HD, they LOOK like crap. Almost completely unwatchable. Here's how pathetic FF can make you. Earlier in the year you had Bengals/Steelers and Colts/Jags in HD. But, my buddy and I were actually straining to watch the Dolphins game in normal res thanks to ff! (he had brown and i had c-pep). We should be ashamed of ourselves! We should be ashamed of ourselves! i do that. i will watch an SD game if i have players in it, even though it looks like crap and even if a better-looking HD game is on. still, it's pretty ridiculous that a multibillion dollar network like CBS can't broadcast all its games in HD. Or living in northern Wisconsin and because it's a Minnesota TV market rarely getting the Packer game. This will be the first time this year that it's on. Pope Flick
Since Los Angeles lost the Rams & Raiders, we always get the double-header, meaning with basic cable you're guarnateed 5 games a week, doing better with the Sat & Thursday games. This year, because of Reggie Bush, we've seen nearly every Saints game, even at the expense of the Raiders a once or twice.
