Bang head. I hope he's going to play, I just dropped M.Vick and Lefty is my only QB. I needed a Defense b/c my by week, and all my other skill players are too good to drop.

if there is any news about if he is going to play let us know b/c I need a QB that is going to play, QB is our highest scoring position.

Game-time decision.

Leftwich improves, remains questionable

By Associated Press

Saturday, October 21, 2006 - Updated: 12:34 PM EST

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - Byron Leftwich’s sore left ankle felt better Saturday, but the quarterback remained questionable for Jacksonville’s game at Houston.

Leftwich missed practice Friday, wore a protective boot and then had an MRI. Results showed “nothing serious,” team spokesman Dan Edwards said Saturday. Edwards said Leftwich was “feeling a little bit better.”

The fourth-year starter was scheduled to fly with the team to Houston later in the day. Whether he plays against the Texans on Sunday will be a game-time decision. Backup David Garrard, who went 4-1 last season in place of Leftwich, will start if Leftwich is unable to play.

Leftwich took his normal practice repetitions Wednesday and Thursday, but coach Jack Del Rio said he experienced soreness in his ankle Friday. Leftwich fractured a bone in the same ankle last season and missed the final five games of the regular season before returning for the first-round of the playoffs.

Team officials weren’t sure whether Leftwich’s soreness was related to last year’s injury.

Leftwich has completed nearly 61 percent of his passes for 1,034 yards, seven touchdowns and five interceptions this season.

Well I can't take a game time decision.

I picked up Kitna off the WW. He's vs the Jets so I think it's a good start.

I dropped B.Watson, don't know why I was so high on him, but with my other TE Gonzo playing well below expectations I thought I could keep BW in my back pocket. But NE does not feature one TE so I had to cut him.

Thanks to the huddle for providing so much info to help my decisions.

Kitna is probably a better start anyway. I picked up David Carr about a month ago to start in place of Bulger/Brees this week. Could have had Leftwich, but I didn't trust him to stay healthy until Week Seven. Guessed right on that one . . .

That's what I did, unfortunately I had to drop Lefty with Bulger on a bye. Couldn't wait.

Let's go Kitna!!!

Just curious, how big is the league is Kitna on the wiaver wire? Because lets get real, he belongs on a roster in most leagues unless the roster is very restricted.

you must be like me BULGER on bye, and only Leftwich available

Yep, precisely.

And so not wanting to possibly take a zero at the QB position this week, I did what any panicky owner would do when his leagues waiver wire is closed for the week.

I traded Leftwich for Brad Johnson. :bash:

Now the team I traded with has a better #2 QB behind their starter Bledsoe, and I just rolled the dice big time hoping and praying Bulger makes it through the season unscathed. So much for that great foresight I had of Leftwich exploiting the Texans secondary this week. :D

And Kitna was taken 2 picks ahead of me when I drafted Leftwich this year too. :D

10 team league We start QB, 2 RB, 3 WR, TE, K, D with only 6 bench spots....most only have 2 QB's.

I was pleasantly suprised he was there as well..

My league is tough we only have 13 roster spots and 8 play. also it's a 10 team league.

Even still it's a puzzle why Kitna is on the WW. He's the top 5 scorer in my league ahead of Peyton LOL

But still the top 19 spots in my league are QBs (and 24 of the top 25 top scorers are QBs) so just about any warm body will do.
