PaulOttCarruth
For some reason KFFL has an incorrect post saying they didn't practice. Must be a typo. You can listen to Andy Reid's press conference HERE Stallworth did more today than he's done in awhile according to Reid.

gd74
Stallworth did not practice this week...the only thing he did was run on the sidelines which is more than he did the last three weeks.

PaulOttCarruth
Stallworth's Return Possible For Sunday October 20, 2006 By BOB KENT Donté Stallworth practiced Friday but admits he's still not 100 percent. Head coach Andy Reid is taking a wait-and-see approach with the Eagles' starting receiver, who has not played since the Oct. 2 win over Green Bay. After practice, Stallworth said he felt good, but termed himself as a game-time decision for Sunday's contest in Tampa. He is officially listed as questionable. "Honestly, I'm not 100 percent, nor was I against Green Bay," Stallworth said. "The last thing I want to do is go out and re-injure it again and be down for another three or four weeks. But at the same, I miss playing. "It will ultimately come down to coach (Andy) Reid and (head athletic trainer) Rick (Burkholder)." Stallworth has missed three of the last four games with a hamstring injury and Reid was cautious when asked how much improvement Stallworth has shown. "Yes. He's getting better," said Reid. "I wouldn't say he is 100 percent, but he is getting better. He did some work today and he did okay. We'll see how he does in the next couple days." gd74
Yes...light work means he ran on the sidelines (Stallworth) ....Westbrook practiced in individual drills and some teamwork but missed the entire 11 on 11 segment which is at the end of practice.... sure sounds like his knee was giving him problems at the end of practice but make your own conclusion. budlitebrad
Westbrook could be dead in a ditch and I'd still start him.
quantegy
Westbrook could be dead in a ditch and I'd still start him. Even in a non-PPR league?
Gros Membres!
Westbrook could be dead in a ditch and I'd still start him. Me too. I'm ready for the game time scratch. If he doesn't play, due to bye week stuff I'm starting Chris Perry. This Westbrook knee situation is beyond absurd. I'm about ready to go down to the Eagles facility and break his knees so we all know exactly what's going on.
Danny Zuko
I traded Westbrook for CJ last week. It worked out just dandy last game, but the jury is still out whether I made out in this deal in the long haul.

Probable and downgraded today. Eagles play at 1pm EST on Sunday.
ABearWithFurniture
This is what I got from KFFL at noon today... Westbrook Practices; Downgraded to Questionable Philadelphia Eagles RB Brian Westbrook (knee) has been downgraded to questionable for Week 7. He was, however, able to practice Friday, Oct. 20, according to a team release.
TDFFFreak
Westbrook could be dead in a ditch and I'd still start him. I'd play Westbrook even if he were a 6 month old baby. At least if he were full grown and dead, his lifeless body could get lucky and make a catch while laying on the ground. I guess it wouldn't be a big gain though... Stallworth will not start and if he does he will be out by the end of the 1st quarter. Oh, I have no doubt whether he plays or not....you'll see him in sweats on the sidelines yet again (and probably next week, too, since they have the bye Week 9). As a homer, I'd rather he sit, so we have him when it counts. Brown, Baskett & co. seem to have done more than enough to keep the machine rolling sans Stallworth. If you come up with the reasons why the Saints won last week, well down your list would be absence of Stallworth, or the poor play of the Eagle WRs. So let him heal all he wants. All I was doing was calling a guy on the carpet for changing a quote so it can fit his argument better. If you wanna call him a bust or lame or whatever, by all means, go ahead. Just don't blatantly misinterpret the facts reported unless you want some grief.

Just flucking with you swammi. donte will be back week 10 or 11 if he just sits and rest, but past history is he tries to get out there to quick and keeps aggravating the injury, thus making him miss more time.
