Recall winning an over/under bet at around 70. We took the over because we were at happy hour and we were joking that we have never seen one that high before and thought why not?? It was the 1988 Holiday Bowl that included Oklahoma State's Heisman Trophy winner Barry Sanders vs. the Cowboys high-powered offense from Wyoming. The score at half was only 17 -7 State leading. To our delight Barry Sanders rushed for 222 yards and a Holiday Bowl record five touchdowns in just 3 quarters. Oklahoma State ended up winning the game 62-14. If you have ever watched New Mexico State's Coach Hal Mumme coach he's insane. At Kentucky then Southeastern going on 4th & 5 or more is common for this gunslinger. Rockerbraves
49-30 Hawii. The over won. In a game where Hawaii never punted the two teams combined for nearly 1,000 total yards. Hawaii with 508 and New Mexico State with 448. The TD that put it over the 75 point spread came with over 3 minutes left in the game.
