Minnesota They did the same here because the WAS/IND game was about to start and I'm in the IND home market.

Yeah but when I wait for my games r they usually play the existing game to the end. Is this a new rule. I've never seen it before. I'm in a 2/3 Minnesota/ 1/3 Wisconsin market so you would think they would let it play for a few minutes. They keep telling us they represent us too. Nothing usually happens for a few minutes anyway. I'll complain, like that does any good though. If they want to reprwesent us they need to do it and not just say they do.

alwaysrocking
Where do you live. It depends on where you live. You must be in the minessota home market. Here in Milwaukee we saw the packer game to conclusion. Just get nfl sunday ticket and you will never have that problem. Spend the bucks it is worth it. MikesVikes
Thats because the Big Boys game started... That's right. The varsity game started. They didn't stop NFL games like the Heidi bowl, they switched to the coverage in the local area I would assume. I had two great noon games on TV and they were both CBS games so they weren't effected in the same way. Atl/Pit and SD/KC were great early games. Randall
I thought they couldn't do that anymore? Ever since the Heid Bowl? They only do it for the prima donna Vikings fans. Actually I've never seen it before. I have waited many times for local games to come on after current games finished. TV sations have told me it's NFL policy, but maybe a kid threw the switch to make out with his girlfriend.

Big John
They kept the Packer/Dolphin game to the very end here. That was because the Bears weren't playing the late game. Cutoffs are done in the markets where their team is playing the late game.
HowboutthemCowboys
I live in the Steelers market. Last week I can't remember who was playing the early game but they kept it on the whole game at the expense of the beginning of Pitt.'s game. godtomsatan
It was a 10 point game with 6 minutes left.
Pope Flick
Market this, market that. Those 2 bum teams have 3 wins between them in 12 games played......who cares?
Savage Beatings
You'd think in this day and age they could just split the screen for a few minutes until the first game ends. I'm sure people would still complain, but at least that way nobody would miss the end or beginning of their favorite team's action.
Chadman
Sheesh, it was a Packers game, for crying out loud. Not like it was important or anything...lucky it was shown at all...
Randall
Market this, market that. Those 2 bum teams have 3 wins between them in 12 games played......who cares? Yeah like Bears fans didn't support their team when they were losing. It's about backing up what you say more than football anyway. They keep telling us we are important and then not showing the game when they can. I expect the Vikings to be #1 but when they aren't on I expect them to put on the Packers. We are 1/3 of their audience.
