CaptainHook
Joseph Addai is the real deal. I think the Colts are trying to keep him healthy and fresh for the stretch run, but the difference between Rhodes and Addai is night and day. Rhodes is a shell of his his former self. Addai breaks tackles, makes great cuts, has good vision, and has some power. He will be the full time back soon. CaptainHook
Addai has 70 carries for 354 yards. 5.1 yards per carry. Rhodes has 92 carries for 299 yards. 3.3 yards per carry. When he came in in the game, he immediately ripped off long runs on the same plays Rhodes had been getting stuffed on. It also opened up the play-action pass, and the Colts exploded in the third quarter. Edited October 23, 2006 by CaptainHook

neilfish2
Boy I hope you are right, a made a trade 3 weeks ago, just on a hunch that Addai would soon be the starter... Traded W. Bill Swerski
I'm not sure if Addai will be a 20+ carry featured back this season, but he's definitely shown that he has both the running, receiving, and pass-blocking skills to be an every-down back in the Colts offense. Polian drafts wisely again. Edited October 24, 2006 by Bill Swerski
