theeohiostate
As a former Chamber owner in previous years it seems he's one of the most overhyped FF WR's. I don't doubt he may be a bit overhyped, but looking at his last half of 2006, i'd say, given a chance with a QB that has time to find him, he's a solid WR with huge upside. I don't know if he the kind of WR that can excel in the slot, but at least their thinking of getting him the ball, and in PPR leagues, this may make using him an option again. loaf
I dumped him so I wouldn't be tempted to get his 4 points into my lineup any longer...

Nice call Saban, your just now thinking of ways to get him touches.............in week 8 I think the lack of touches is more on Mularkey than Saban. Question. Isn't the slot WR only on the field in 3 WR sets? When they only go with a 2 WR set, he'll still be one of those WR's, right?

When they only go with a 2 WR set, he'll still be one of those WR's, right? Instead, an occasional move during games to the inside receiver position -- called the slot -- might do the trick. I'd say he's not been "demoted" to #3. I'm not sure Chambers is overrated.....of all the top 10-15ish WRs in the league....I don't think anyone else has had to deal with so many QB changes over the last 3 or 4 years. Do you? Given the fact that, until this year, he's been remarkedly consistant, that's pretty admirable under those circumstances. i_am_the_swammi
i'd say, given a chance with a QB that has time to find him, he's a solid WR with huge upside. As are WRs like Reggie Brown, Roy Williams, Reggie Williams, Mark Clayton, Santana Moss, Coles, Jenkins, Horn....the list goes on and on. Which only goes to show you that WRs are a dime a dozen, and unless you are one of the few marque (Holt, Boldin) WRs who play well regardless of QB, they are all the same.... Individually, though, he is no better than any other WR ranked 8-20. Which probably means anyone who drafted him this year overpaid for him. Yeah, I didn't think they'd ONLY play him in the slot, hence my question about him still being on the field in 2 WR sets.

kwolf68
If Chambers hasn't done enough for you yet even with the Dolphins throwing it nearly every down, don't expect much to change. He'll be up and down, spotty at best...his QB play isn't the greatest.
