Oh Romo

I see it like this guys. Romo has been nesting under Parcells for 4 years now. I believe Parcells was and still is one of the top coaches in the league. As he says, "I've been in this business for years now, and I know what's going on". Well, show me!

Given that, he was hoping the line would protect Bledsoe enough so he could do what he does when he's upright. Combining the fact that; 1. Bledsoe was on his back to much and 2. He made too many critical mistakes that a vet can't make.

So on to plan B. He said he was getting Romo ready to play. Which begs the Question, Is Romo ready to start in this league?

Answer, he had better be after 4 years of "Back Yard Drills Football" under Bill Parcells! I'd hate to think that he is teaching young boys to throw picks on the goal line for touchdowns, and stand in the pocket just long enough to get killed.

After what I saw from him against the Giants, let's be fair. The guy has to come in and overcome Bledsoe's mistake just before half, and overcome his own, on the first snap he takes in the game. By the time he gets settled, their down by 12 and everyone in that stadium knows they have to throw, under fire. Then TO lets the ball bounce off his hands on 4th and 2. TO should have been SORRYING his a$$ off. Yet another can't happen play, especially with a Rookie in his first start.

Next their down by 19. You have to throw even more now.

Bottom line is this. Romo is either un-teachable or Parcells is tired or lost a football mastermind cell or two. Because if this kid can't play, then we wasted 4 years on another can't make it happen on the field Quarterback. That would suck.

That said, I'm going with Parcells and picking Romo up off the Waiver Wire and god willing we can find a way to win the next three on the road to get back in this thing.

I hope he fails big time.

I dont understand why everyone thinks its Bledsoe's fault that they cant

A. Pass Block

B. Run Block

C. Run for 4 yards a carry with six men in the box.

Oh, im also playing against Glenn, J.Jones, and Witten this week.

Got to be honest here. Have Bledsoe on one of my teams so I find myself trying to defend this guy. The truth is after watching him play vs. the Eagles I promised myself he would never start again. Did I listen to myself? No because like Parcell I too thought he gave my team the best chance to win the next week. Well enough is enough. We've all seen this guy play too much this season to fool ourselves he's a reliable QB option. So I applaud the Cowboys for making the decision to finally bench this guy for every fantasy owner who has Bledsoe on their team. :D

Bledsoe has always had te same critisisms everywhere hes played. I know in Buffalo he was knocked on a lot because he just stands there. Put him behind a brick wall and he'd kill you. Put him behind anything else, and all you really have to do is put a little bit of pressure on him and he starts to get all flustered.

I agree with Cowboyz1. Since they were already down, they completely abandoned the run against the Giants. Everyone knew they were going to pass, pass and pass some more.

I'd say we should give the kid a few weeks before we really pass judgement. I think Parcells knows what he's doing, considering OL play has been poor. That said, the remaining schedule is really tough.

@Carolina

@Washington

@Arizona

Indianapolis

Tampa Bay

@N.Y. Giants

New Orleans

@Atlanta

Philadelphia

Detroit

I think he'll throw about the same number of TDs and INTs, and go 3-7 to finish the season (6-10 overall).

Very impressive Romo. Loved to see him slip pressure the way he did. There were at least 5 plays in this game that Bledsoe doesn't make and we punt.

Romo can play but we must remember, the film room is now rolling throughout the league. Now Romo can you say consistancy? Because if you can do what you did tonight, week in and week out, this team can go a long way.

It looked like the team rallied around him big time. Witten and Owens were his go to targets while Glenn got little love. Maybe the love affair that Bledsoe had with Glenn was holding this O back. Well that, and him being on his.

Great win and I have hope now that the light at the end of the tunnel is NOT a train.

Thanks Coach for getting Bledsoe on my bench as well.
