Bronco Billy
Thought I saw TD again in Denver...Wuz just waiting for his salute! Glad I held on to him with more to come! The only thing that I don't see in M Bell that I did see in TD was that final gear when he's out in the open field. The kid likes contact, sees his lanes well, makes good decisions transitioning from the trenches to the second level, runs well both between the tackles & off the edge, sticks his nose in on pass blocking, and has very good hands coming out of the backfield. He also seems to really smell blood near the goal line & is fearless in throwing his body around down there in accomplishing his goal. He also is very humble & self aware. Not saying that M Bell is the second coming of TD, but I see a lot of similar traits.

Avernus
I'm not sure about this one BB... I saw him get run over a few times while pass blocking. that'll happen....but he doesn't shy away...like the other Bell..
Flypaste
that'll happen....but he doesn't shy away...like the other Bell.. That a good point Avernus... He did try, he just seemed over-matched and bullied at times. But, like you said "It'll happen." I was really impressed with his ability to make tacklers miss out in the open, however. House of Pain
Dont listen to the BroncoBullwipe, Shanny is gonna play the hot hand, end....... It was nice when Tatum rollin ff wise, a no brainer start, but he gets a toe, not producing well enough, insert Mike..... I give MBell all the credit in the world for taking advantage of this opportunity and coming up big, but next week is a cloud of uncertainty..........Welcome BACK to the DEN RBBC.............. TD comparison ???? Please, gimme what you are smokin..........

It's okay if he gets run over occassionally, as long as he gets in the way & impedes the rush. All RBs get wiped clean by a much bigger D-lineman every once in a while. That's okay as long as they tangle up the D-lineman in the process.
Bronco Billy
TD comparison ???? Please, gimme what you are smokin.......... Like you could handle it... Just wait until next year in TOCOL when I trot out LJ, Brandon Jacobs, & Mike Bell as my RBs and add those 4 picks in the top 18. Don't get me wrong here, I'm a big Mike Bell fan, and believe him to be the better back, however, he was rushing against the Colt's run defense, and they would have trouble tackling my dead grandmother this year!!! And I say that being a Colt's homer!!! Edited October 31, 2006 by Big Dogs
