InBillWeTrust
Who do you think will end up on top of the fantasy world at the TE position? Right now I'd have to give the edge to Crumpler but I wouldn't be surprised if his #'s start decreasing once Vick and the Falcons go back to their old ways of running the ball first. This may never happen though, now that Vick has shown he can throw the ball. Also, how long before teams start doubling/tripling up on Crumpler since the Atl. WR's are absolutely pathetic. Big Score 1
KWII Nah, it's Gates. PPR, it could end up being KWII.
Brentastic
PPR, it could end up being KWII. Definitely. He has stepped up this year after being injured the previous two. I'm sure it feels good to him. It sure is feeling good to my fantasy team.

Raider.Nation
Gates is the obvious choice here. Crumpler is gifted for a big man, and in the top 5 for sure. I wouldn't rush to any conclusions the way CBS has over the last 2 weeks though. 1. Gates 2-6. Gonzalez, Shockey, Heap, Crumpler, Winslow 7. The rest. kwolf68
Crumpler isn't as good as Gates, but is in a better situation...Rivers really spreads the ball around a lot while Vick isn't near as diverse in his ability to mix in multiple receivers into the game. That being said, Crump is the one guy Vick focuses on and it pays off.

Man I'm so glad I didn't trade for Gates when he was offered to me.
giantsfan
A top TE is a top TE so who ends up with the most points by a few sort of doesn't matter, but one thing to keep in mind on Crumpler is his HUGH game, that throw his numbers out a whack sort of. Not saying that week he wasn't great or he won't be great a bunch of weeks, but one 3 TD 100 yard week will inflate his numbers. So if he finishes a few points ahead of Gates, Heap, KWII, and Shockey he may have actually been a little "worse" due to the one HUGH week. Example: To date in my league 41% of Crump's points came in that one week. The highest % for Gates in one week is 25%. Sort of what I'm talking about. lkirc
Gates and it isn't even close. I would rather have a TE who catches 5 and has 60 yards and a TD every week than a guy who blows up for two big games.

Randall
Gates and it isn't even close. I would rather have a TE who catches 5 and has 60 yards and a TD every week than a guy who blows up for two big games. It is close. I think Gates is a better TE but Crumpler is tied to Vick. If he does have a huge year Crumpler could have better TE numbers.
WaterMan
Crumpler isn't as good as Gates, but is in a better situation...Rivers really spreads the ball around a lot while Vick isn't near as diverse in his ability to mix in multiple receivers into the game. That being said, Crump is the one guy Vick focuses on and it pays off. Vick doesn't have the luxury of many receivers to throw to. But he's found one who is reliable, while his only other reliable receiver in Finneran was injured. Lelie seems to be doing pretty well though. Scare Tactics
Gates is a better athlete and probably TE in general, but Crumpler is a main focus of Vick and a slightly better situation this year, next year we be a huge year for Gates again though... Also dont forget Crumpler had a 60 yeard TD called back for holding like 4 weeks ago, so he has been solid, just slow at the begining of the season since he was a bit out of shape coming off the surgery.. InBillWeTrust
yup...Colston is a beast True but don't let your Yahoo league full you... he's no TE!
Primetime9287
Id rather have Gonzo over both of them. KC is finally realizing that he only was the top TE for like 7 years.

Big Score 1
In every single PPR league that I'm in, The "Soldja" is currently the #1 TE.
