crispirons
the skins have some injury issues. they haven't looked too good this season. is this team ready to pack it in? or do they come out inspired and tee off on romo defensively? in recent yrs, haven't the skins owned the cowboys at home? anyway, washington is either done for the yr or plays there best game of the season. which do you think? I think any team that loses to TEN this year will have a damn tough time staying within 3 pts of DAL, even with the vaunted rivalry & playing at home. crispirons
Cowboys win by atleast 3 and another veteran QB possibly starts his last game. i could easily see that happening too. logically, there is no other way to see it. cowboys seem much better right now on both sides of the ball. still, when it comes to laying my money down this weekend, it might be on the dog. Rockerbraves
Cowboys might be the better team, but give me the home team plus the points. Skins have had time to prepare for a Romo led Cowboy team.

I'm sure that they'll lay some late hits on him, especially when they go down by three scores. That's typical of how they play.

You need to do a little research on that, last year was the first sweep of the Cowboys for the skins and the forth time they had beaten them at all in at least 9 years. The Cowboys have owned the Skins 15-4 since 1996, including last years sweep.

Kansas State 2000
Skins have had time to prepare for a Romo led Cowboy team. Not so fast ... the Redskins got their first real glimpse of Romo Sunday night which gives them less then a week to prepare. The two week bye means little as far as preparation time goes, it's a normal week. Romo is still an unkown. Dallas knows Washington very well and will basically be facing the same team they did in week two when they won by double digits.

Not to mention this will be the 1st week wash has both their starting CBs healhty (springs and Rogers) Historically skins step up for big games esp at home.. With G.williams having 2 weeks to prep for Dal, i can see skins coming out on top here and if i were the betting man i would bet on the skins to win. MustOfBeenDrunk
interresting ? why are the cowboys only favored by 3 ? because Parcells gets up by a td Then forgets he has a QB just like SD

Cowboyz1
This is a trap game for the Boys. I felt as though the big game was Carolina in this three game road trip. However, the big game is this one. Winning in Carolina and lossing in Washington will hurt badly. It's against a team that knows us very well but Romo is a wildcard. This argument about not having tape on Romo is straw. There is a lot of tape on the kid and def coodinators have the same plan against Rookies. Pressure, lots of different looks and hit him as much as possible, late smacks for early penalties are acceptable. I do believe we can smoke the skins again this game but it will take a strong running effort from JJ and Barber to insure the D stays honest. Romo will find the open reciever and count on Witten and Fasano play well. TO will burn the skins for a deep play in this one which will change the game. I underestimated the speed of Romo's release. When he decides to throw, it's gone and on target for the most part. The skins do not have the defensive pressure to rattle Romo if Carolina couldn't. Portis is only as good as their passing game. Brunell has been banged up this year and if we can put some hits on him he plays old. Moss is hurting also which will limit his effectivness. Dallas has played well against the run all year and they will play Portis tough. That being said, the Boys control this game but it will be close. CowboysDiehard
As far as tape on Romo goes, the Foreskins have the whole preseason to look at, not just the last 6 quarters. Second. Gibbs will need a colostomy bag by the time this one's over. Not that Dallas is that good...it's that the Redskums are that bad! Finally, Portis has 0 TDs in the last 4 games against Dallas, so it's unlikely he'll factor in this one. At least the skins defense has an idea now of what they are up against. Personally I think Bledsoe would be my starter in this kind of a rivalry. Washington wins this one and the Cowboy's QB controvery gets in full swing.
wildcat2334
tough one, definitely a trap game for the Boys but the line smells like a trap as well. I admit I was shocked a bit when I saw Wash +3. I still will lay some $$ on the Skins. Dal falls back a bit here, and Wash steps up and plays well Wash 20 Dallas 17 Edited November 3, 2006 by wildcat2334

Cowboyz1
Going to be some people losing money if you put it on the Skins this weekend. Absolutely, it will not be an easy game but the skins are no match for the inspired boys this week. The 2 and 5 Skins fall to 2 and 6 Sunday, and by 7 or more! Chaos
Heard Moss is most likely out and Portis has a high ankle sprain. Siciliano said Portis is a game time decision.
Azazello1313
man, cowboys fans are a trip. to put it mildly, i'd have to say y'all run a little hot and cold. one week it's all doom and gloom as the girls get throttled by the giants. then homo looks halfway decent for one game and suddenly the girls are gonna waltz into JFK and blow the skins out by two TDs!
