PITTSBURGH - Investigators said two local college students of Middle Eastern descent were caught trying to break into Pittsburgh's Heinz Field overnight.

According to authorities, the two men tried to climb the walls around the stadium, but were caught on surveillance by two security guards who work at the field.

The attempted break-in took place around 2:30 a.m. Pittsburgh time. State police, the local bomb squad and the FBI were all called to the scene.

Authorities alerted every NFL team of the break-in attempt.

The Steelers are set to take on the Denver Broncos this afternoon. The game will go on as scheduled according to authorities.

Here is a quote from the Pittsburgh Post Gazette;

Although explosives-sniffing canines found nothing of interest around the football stadium, an affidavit said the dogs registered two separate "positive hits for explosives" in the Lexus sport utility vehicle the men were driving.

Local news just reported that the two suspects car was searched and bomb sniffing police dogs got positive hits when they checked thier car.

OK, OK--I'll say it. Maybe the police should take those dogs through the Steelers' locker room, I am sure that they could pick up the scent of a bomb in there!! :D
