Easy n Dirty Posted November 6, 2006 Share Posted November 6, 2006 Saw this in today's NY Jets team report, don't believe I've ever seen reference to this type of "injury" before: "Although Pennington hasn't talked about it, his performance against Cleveland could have been affected by a deep rug burn on his passing hand that he suffered against Detroit at home the week before." I haven't played on the "new turf" that they use now, but the old artificial grass hurts when you slide on it! I see a lot of players using "skid" pads on there elbows, but I doubt if they have any for hands... maybe he could use gloves like Ben or Brady! oooops, maybe not!
