Duchess Jack
Art Shell - does not seem to have what it takes to coach a JV game, much less a pro.... Denny Green - The Cardnals have too much talent to end up where they are.... McCarthy... they should have hired Jim Bates Retiring.... Cower... nice run.... he'll be back though.... Gibbs... um... the game's passed you by Honorable Mention....((firing)) Herm Edwards. He's an derby. edit... hehe.. derby is an aszhat Edited November 7, 2006 by Duchess Jack
Rileyrott
Denny Green--His days in AZ are over Art Shell--Lost in space Jeff Fischer--Maybe to Dallas?
Big John
Denny Green Art Shell 3rd is tougher - D Capers, too much turmoil there still.
gilthorp
John, Capers is not a coach anymore....it's Kubiak there. I don't think any of them will get the hook during the season this year.
Whiskey Pimp
I say Shell, Gibbs and Parcells. I think the Cards give Denny 1 more year and spend their money/picks on the OL and if he still doesn't get it done it's over.
Caveman_Nick
Here's going out on a limb for you... I don;t think Shell gets fired. I think his OC gets canned and the team picks up a more modern OC. The OAK Def is playing well. Addin Aaron Brooks as the missing link on offense and a terrible OC is most of what has Da Raiders in their current predicament. That and flop picks Like Gallery. Bill Swerski
I don't think that Parcells gets fired. I see him retiring after the season.

Sadly, even Brooks is better than Walter at this point. Even when he has time to throw in the pocket, he can't throw the ball accurately. Who knows...maybe I am wrong, but I think the OC gets it and Shell lives until next season.

But if he weren't so closely tied to the Raiders organization, I'd give him about a 10% chance of keeping his job. He doesn't seem to be capable of controlling his players. Walter MIGHT be a halfway decent NFL QB in another year or two, but I'm not sure I like his chances. He has the size, arm, and mobility. But the accuracy is problematic. Avernus
obviously Shell and Green will be fired...Cowher won't retire, Parcells will... of course I don't know how much the NFLPA would like seeing 2 black HC's get fired....somebody might be strong-armed into keeping their coach another year.. Oh god it better his OC. Al Davis should be "let go" too. Edited November 7, 2006 by LooGie

It might be three. I don't foresee Dungy staying around in Indy if the Colts fail to advance to the SB this season.
FishFreak
I'll go out on a limb and say Shell keeps his job at least one more year. The Raiders are that bad with or without him plus who else would want that mess of a job? How do you think Shell got hired? He was practically the last resort. Green deserves to get canned. The Cardinals haven't turned the corner. I think Fisher stays around to see if Vince Young becomes special which I think he will. Unfortuneatly, Saban is feeling some heat too. The Fish are much better than their 2-6 record as evidenced by the Bear whooping. I'm not sure what the Dutchess meant by the Herm Edwards comment. When will you guys learn he's a solid coach and give him his due. The Chiefs are 5-3 in the tough AFC West with a back-up QB. That in itself is a minor miracle. muck
Not sure who'll be fired or who'll quit/retire, but I see offseason HC searches at the following teams: Highly probable: DAL TEN Very possible: CLE (Crennell has underwhelmed me thus far) MIA (Saban is getting flack for taking CPep and passing on Brees) Some shakeup, but probably at the coordinator level not the HC level: ARI OAK If there is no change, these teams will need to show big improvement over a full year next year, or else: ARI CLE GB MIA OAK SF
