Savage Beatings
Anybody else decide to pull the trigger recently? I know, I know... he comes on strong towards the end of the season. I don't care! He's gone, and I couldn't be happier.

pseudolefty
Just curious what you were able to get for CJ. Anything of value or are you hoping for addition by subtraction?

Wolv
I've been trying to get rid of him as well. Tried packaging him with J Lewis to an owner in need of a RB for Holt, but no bite. Next stop, Andre Johnson.
Hugh 0ne
I'm trying to move Holt, CJ and Foster for Chester Taylor and Greg Jennings. I'm willing to throw in Lamont Jordan if necessary. If that falls through, I'll trade Holt, CJ and LJ for Reggie Brown, Michael Turner, and Chris Perry.

Savage Beatings
Just curious what you were able to get for CJ. Anything of value or are you hoping for addition by subtraction? Traded CJ for Drew Brees (my QB's prior to the trade were McNair and Carr) Edit to add: the person I made the trade with already had Peyton Manning as their starting QB, so Brees was basically just sitting on the bench. I doubt most owners would be able to get that deal in a trade. Edited November 8, 2006 by Savage Beatings
Tally
I traded him last week for Frank Gore. I needed help at RB and felt I was strong at WR so the deal made sense for my team. I was also offered Addai and J.Lewis for him...hope I made the right call w/ Gore Edited November 8, 2006 by Tally
Gros Membres!
I am currently trying to unload him...I am done with the sexyholes this year. And they looked so good in the next to last pre-season game when Carson came back. Forget this team. They're sunk.
Hugh 0ne
Got any league openings? Nope. Lots of keeper implications which is why the trade makes sense for me, being 2-6 and out of the playoffs.

(I think the squad I took over for you)
Hugh 0ne
Well that explains DOH! (I think the squad I took over for you) I can't keep Holt, CJ or Jordan. I can keep Taylor and Jennings. At 2-6, the three I currently own are useless to me, so I'm building for the future. I left you with some nice keepers in DOH if I recall correctly, it's not my fault if you f*cked up the team from there.

Same exact scenario - a few weeks back (when Bledsoe got canned) traded for Brees from a Manning owner for.....Reggie Brown Come to think of it, I think I'd rather have Brown than CJ though

I kept Holt and McGahee and had to trade Holt for RB depth.
kpholmes
Anybody else decide to pull the trigger recently? I know, I know... he comes on strong towards the end of the season. I don't care! He's gone, and I couldn't be happier. Just traded CJ and Willie Parker for Ronnie Brown this morning in my keeper league. Mt team is one of the worst in the league (Thanks to CJ and SA falling on their faces), so I figured it was time to start building for next year. Now I have Ronnie Brown and Shaun Alexander as two of my keepers. And maybe Javon Walker as the third if he keeps it up. MikesVikes
Could Randy Moss be far away? I have him in a league and I'd deal him in a heartbeat.
ReturnToSender
Just traded C-Jo, MD Jones (whol Ihated getting rid of) Troy Brown and Grossman for D-Jax, D Foster, D Henderson(protect for Joe Horn for me) and J Kitna
peepinmofo
I traded CJ and McGahee last week for Boldin and Caddy. Im liking it more and more...
Randall
Did the same with Chambers a few weeks ago(not that he equals CJ) and couldn't feel better.
FishFreak
I'm stubbornly standing by CJ. A poor first half should mean a good 2nd half for ocho cinco. He's too good a player to keep putting up mediocre numbers. I hate to give up on a high draft pick that has been a stud the past few years. Bill Swerski
Unless my trade deadline was this week, I would've waited to deal CJ. His value is at an all-time low right now and he's going to have a solid game or two at some point.

On paper, before the injury, those were 3 stud keepers though no doubt.
