montster Posted November 12, 2006 Share Posted November 12, 2006 so we got the jets/pats game here on local TV in HD on CBS and philly/skins on fox. i have superfan, and i got only two other HD games today (bills/colts and pack/vikes) during the early games. BUT when the jets/pats ended, CBS switched to the end of the chargers/bengals -- in HD! so if it's being broadcast in HD, how come it wasn't part of the slate of early games in HD? anyone know? i need to know whether i should curse CBS or directv. Directv said they are launching 2 new satellites. I believe they don't have the right equipment to braodcast them all in HD. You may try over the air to test this. I dont get NFL network in HD either, I'm pretty sure it isnt offered at least not on DirectTv, maybe cable has an HD version of NFL Network. If you go to the Directv website they have a list of the HD games for each week, you can also sign up to have them send you an e-mail of the HD schedule each week. All FOX games are always available in HD and CBS shows aprox 50% of it's games in HD. I've heard that for next season CBS will also be at 100% so hopefully we'll never have to watch another non HD game again starting next season. Scare Tactics Posted November 13, 2006 Share Posted November 13, 2006 Im not postitive but i think u have to buy that Redzone package to get the games in HD.. I am only subscribed for Sunday NFL Ticket, and i dont get the games in HD, i believe the extra add on is the Superfan, wich is like another 100 bucks, that gives u the redzone channel & the HD games..
