Taco seasoning?

Tacos are a staple of the ChuckB household and I was wondering if anyone had a mix for homemade taco seasoning rather than using the packets all the time.

Keep in mind I have two little girls so extremely hot seasoning would not be usable for me. Thanks in advance for any ideas :D

i do mine to taste:

chili powder

garlic powder

cayenne

salt

pepper

touch of cinnamon

keep in mind, when doing tacos (or ground beef of any sort), the meet really absorbs the seasonings. you will likely have to add more of everything as you go to avoid it from being bland.

yeah... mrs doesn't like cumin, so i instinctively left it out :D

Everything to taste and it depends on how you're cooking your meat:

Cumin

Minced Garlic

Chili Powder

Crushed Red Pepper

Garlic Salt

Cayenne Pepper

For my taco chicken which I do in the crockpot, additional flavor comes from Chipotles, green chilis, and tequila.
