Gros Membres!
I have read various articles saying his concussion was minor and another saying he experienced problems overnight. Anyone see the hit or hear anything definitive today? Edit: sp Edited November 13, 2006 by Gros Membres!
Chief Dick
He can stay concussed all year if he can run like he did Sunday.
Gros Membres!
He can stay concussed all year if he can run like he did Sunday. He didn't play after the concussion so I would prefer him to run like he did before the injury. But I see what you're sayin'.
Gros Membres!
... from SF Gate this morning: The concussion, which occurred late in the third quarter, shouldn't keep him out of next week's division showdown against the Seahawks at home. Gore is listed as probable, which is good for the 49ers, because the running game quickly faded when he left.
godtomsatan
When did this phrase 'concussed' become the nom de jour of a concussion?
Gros Membres!
From American Heritage Dictionary- conn·cuss (kn-ks) tr.v. con·cussed, con·cuss·ing, con·cuss·es To injure by concussion: “a middle-aged woman concussed by a blow on the head” (Manchester Guardian Weekly). [Latin concutere, concuss-, to strike together : com-, com- + quatere, to strike; see kwt- in Indo-European Roots.] ummm...I guess a long time ago, to answer your question. broncosn05
I don't expect him to be any different then last week. I actually doubt he had a concussion to tell you the truth. Just a hunch.

johnnyfb
Gore has been really hot lately, and I don't see how getting his bell rung is going to slow him down for very long. The 49ers have been my sleeper pick to win the NFC West since SA went down, and it really looks like they may pull it off at this rate. I've been watching them while playing my new play-predicting game on my cell, and the 49ers have made me want to throw my phone at the wall a couple times, but overall they aren't looking bad. Tally
Here's an update on Gore. The info is not that definitive but its on the positive side none the less. Coach Mike Nolan said he expects Gore (concussion) will play Sunday against Seattle, although Gore could miss some practice as a precaution..... http://www.mercurynews.com/mld/mercurynews...ts/16007762.htm

Tally
Here's another update for Gore owners... Gore (concussion) went through individual drills on Wednesday and expects to play Sunday against Seattle, the San Francisco Chronicle reports. Coach Mike Nolan said Gore typically works lightly on Wednesdays to keep him fresh, and that he too expects Gore to play Sunday.Gore agreed http://www.sfgate.com/cgi-bin/article.cgi?...SPGFPMDOFL1.DTL Edited November 16, 2006 by Tally
Bushey
- pull off winning the NFC West?. you are mental, absolutely mental. Is that really out of the question? The NFC West is winnable for anyone except for retarded cardinals.
Gros Membres!
Gore has been taking part in individual drills but nothing with the team... What's the story here? Is it possible that Gore sits this weekend?
