gowdemon
Mcnabb continues to light up the fantasy scoreboard. The Elias Sports Bureau officially changed the touchdown play by Eagles RB Correll Buckhalter in last Sunday's game vs. Washington. They ruled that Reggie Brown did not have possession of the ball and, therefore, did not fumble. Here's a breakdown of the official scoring of the play and subsequent statistical changes from the game: Scoring change to Week 10 WAS-PHI game: 10:57 remaining 2nd QTR: There was NO FUMBLE on this play - it should be scored as a 55-yard TD pass from McNabb to Buckhalter PASSING McNabb should have 257 yards passing and 2 TD+-

gowdemon
not sure where to find that. I work in the philly media market and just got the announcement, I can't publicly post it on here. I'm sure it will be posted somewhere soon.

Itsnottatooma
I hope I get to see this play again. Watching the game on TV I thought Reggie had the ball for at least several steps before he "fumbled" it.

This could potentially hand me a loss instead of a 7 point victory, so I'm sort of hoping this is all rumor and no truth.
MERLINS
Geez, I only so the replay once but remember thinking it looked more like a pitch than a fumble.
gowdemon
Its from Elias Sports Bureau who is the official statistician for the NFL. Id expect to see the change on NFL.com shortly.

reddogs2020
So the Elias Sports Bureau, official statistician of the NFL, can overrule the referees on the field who ruled that there was a fumble? Interesting...

darin3
Will all the fantasy sites go back and make the change? I'm hoping so. I lost by ~2 points in a league where I have McNabb.

soco
same here no changes in my league yet.
TheGrunt
Well I'm not sure why ESPN would change it unless it really was official but I'm sure if the site I found above has the statistics changed then eventually all of them will change. However, I don't know for sure if NFL.com actually updates the stat changes do they? So unless ESPN jumped the gun early and reported the stat changes without much proof then I'm assuming the changes are for real.
reddogs2020
This would cause me to lose last week. The only glimmer of hope for me is that my league uses the stats from USAToday as the official league stats. If USAToday doesn't change it by Friday, I'm okay. Avernus
both players were benched on their respective teams....and Buckhalter was actually a possible start for the team he was on....sadly enough..
Jedi
So the Elias Sports Bureau, official statistician of the NFL, can overrule the referees on the field who ruled that there was a fumble? Interesting... They're only changing stats, not outcome. MFL makes changes following ESB changes quite often. I'd expect them to do the same here.
