SteelBunz
He collapsed in the studio this morning and was rushed to the hospital. While they were talking about that on SportsCenter.....they broke in to say he died. Wow....RIP Bo....say Hello to Woody for us, Big Guy. What awful timing...even though he couldn't make the trip....he was looking forward to watching the game this weekend. Bummer.

sacosud
OSU family should do something special for Bo tomorrow. Halftime tribute or black arm bands or something. I wonder if there is enough time to prepare something for halftime. BO will be watching I'm sure and yelling at the refs from a big M cloud somewhere. MikesVikes
Maybe renaming this band to something else would be appropriate now. They were quick to put the following on their home page... The band wishes to say, "We are crushed to learn of the death of Bo Schembechler, OSU's most valiant foe." Puddy
The timing is incredible. The tough old SOB lasted a lot longer than many thought possible given his history of heart trouble. RIP
Cameltosis
The timing is incredible. The tough old SOB lasted a lot longer than many thought possible given his history of heart trouble. RIP Indeed. I didnt realize he had a heart attack on the eve of his first Rose Bowl. He was a tough old man, and I loved to hate him. RIP Bo

Wolverines Fan
The timing is incredible. The tough old SOB lasted a lot longer than many thought possible given his history of heart trouble. RIP Well said. I'm shocked and . I saw a TV clip of him Monday talking to the media. Bo looked fine, and he was fired up about the game. RIP Bo. sacosud
I can see Woody brushing off the seat right next to him for the Big Game. Woody with that big smile and goofy look and Bo with his block M hat and slightly tinted glasses walking right on over.....Then Jesus having to seperate them by halftime...You on that cloud Woodrow and Bo on that cloud over there....and He thought the water and wine thing was tough. You win with people. GO BUCKS
Coffeeman
These things usually happen in groups. I wonder if OJ will die right before the USC-ND game?

splotchman
Thank you, Bo, for the history at U of M. You will be sorely missed by all Wolverines.
GWPFFL BrianW
Big Ten football wasn't the same after Bo. I'll never forget how pissed Bo was when Iowa beat Michigan 9-7 in 1981. <Bo> 3 fg's? You kidding me? 3 <bleepin> fg's? Bo was there on homecoming 2003 for Iowa-Michigan, and formally inducted Hayden Fry to the college football Hall of Fame. That was pretty cool, as both coaches had folk hero status to a kid growing up in Southeast Iowa. I know Hayden and the Hawkeye faithful had/have nothing but respect for Bo. I LOVE that Bo was getting on the Buckeyes for making sure to not have those dogs. That's classic stuff.
Rockerbraves
Gotta wonder if Bo sold his soul for a win today? Guess we will find out soon enough.
