Grits and Shins
The bet: Romo would surpass Vick in ALL of the relevant QB statisical categories by which a QB is measured ... passing yards, completion percentage, interceptions, QB rating While Big Score 1 worships at the altar of Vick he refused to take this bet Week 11: Vick - 11/27, 127 yards, 1 TD, 0 INT ... Falcons lose Romo - 19/23, 226 yards, 0 TD, 1 INT ... Cowboys win So BS1 would be ahead in the bet because of Vick surpassed Romo in 2 of the categories this week TDs and INTs. Of course Romo lead his team to a victory while Vick lead his to a loss. Atlanta could not defeat a 7-2 team Dallas defeated a 9-0 team Romo is 3-1 as a starter Vick is 1-3 over the same time frame
Chavez
Don't forget Romo surpassed Vick in turnovers as well.
Grits and Shins
Don't forget Romo surpassed Vick in turnovers as well. If you had actually read my post I did say that Vick surpassed Romo in two categories TDs and INTs ... meaning Vick had more TDs and fewer INTs Edited November 20, 2006 by Grits and Shins
Grits and Shins
Well I bet Romo takes the lead after this week ...
gilthorp
G&S, I don't think you've proved what a big man you are yet. Maybe if you bring this up ad naseum for the next 4 or 5 weeks, that will do it. P.S. Make sure you mention over and over again that the other guy didn't take the bet. Grits and Shins
Week 12: Vick - 9/24, 84 yards, 0 TD, 0 INT ... Falcons lose Romo - 22/29, 306 yards, 5 TD, 0 INT ... Cowboys win Romo 4-1 since he started Vick 1-4 over the same time frame While Romo has far out-played Vick, Vick would still be leading in the bet with no INTs to Romo's 1 INT

Grits and Shins
Week 13: Vick - 8/16, 122 yards, 2 TD, 0 INT ... Falcons win Romo - 20/34, 257 yards, 0 TD, 2 INT ... Cowboys win TOTALS SINCE WEEK 11 Vick 28/67, 333 yards, 3 TDs, 0 INT, 1-2 record Romo 61/86, 789 yards, 5 TDs, 3 INT, 3-0 record Romo 5-1 as a starter Vick 2-4 over the same period You'd still be winning the bet on turn over differential
Rockerbraves
Would still rather watch Vick play than Romo. Does that count for anything?
Pirate lookin' at 40
As a Cowboy fan, I had this same debate at work this morning with a Falcons fan. I told him that while there are definately quarterbacks in the league that I would trade Romo for, Vick isn't one of them. I'll take Romo on this one all day long.
