This is why Favre is the great one

He has played nine million times without missing a game. He gets hurt on Sunday and Aaron rodgers comes in.

So what happens?

Aaron Rodgers goes on IR today with a broken foot. He could only make it 3 quarters of a game. :D

yeah I get to see Favre and Donald Driver play on monday night football!

Cant wait!

I will be rabidly cheering on Ingle Martin from some nosebleed seats at Qwest next week.

I will also most likely be very drunk and blissfully unaware whether or not Martin is actually playing.

He broke his foot in the 3rd quarter, yet continued to play. It's easy to claim he sucks, but I can guarantee it's much less stressful to practice a full week knowing you will start, instead of go into a game partly already played and trying to catch up to the rest of the already warmed up players. Not to mention playing a full 4th quarter with a season ending broken foot.

He'll get better with time, although, his patented "deer in the headlights" look followed up with his stats are not a comforting sight. :D

Not to mention facing one of the better, more confusing defenses in the league down 21 points. I've seen Peyton Manning look pretty heinous vs NE in that situation.

QB Favre OK; QB Rodgers' Season Done With Broken Foot

Mike Spofford, Packers.com -

The Packers got both good and bad news today. QB Brett Favre's elbow injury isn't all that serious and he'll be reevaluated Wednesday to determine his playing status for Week 12, but he appears to be okay according to HC Mike McCarthy. However backup and future Packers QB Aaron Rodgers, who finished the game for Favre, suffered a broken foot and will miss the rest of the season.

And the Packer fans like to joke that Grossman is injury prone... :D

Looks like you have your own problems.... :D

Oooh gives a crap if rodgers is hurt he sucks anyway. Hopefully favre will play a year or 2 more. Than the pack will ship rodgers off and find a better qb to replace favre. I can only hope. I really do though think favre will at least play one more year though.
