Randall
The Green Bay Packers, as expected, have signed a quarterback to bolster their depleted signal-caller position. FOXSports.com has learned that Green Bay on Tuesday signed former Vikings and Saints QB Todd Bouman. Bouman started three games for the Saints last year but had a poor showing with a 54.7 rating. However, in 2001 Bouman started three games when Daunte Culpepper was benched and had a terrific showing with a 98.3 and eight touchdowns to just four picks. Bouman was brought in yesterday along with younger QBs J.T. O'Sullivan and Bradlee Van Pelt. Bouman, however, had the inside track as he is familiar with Mike McCarthy's system having been with him in New Orleans a few years ago. Bouman was signed because backup Aaron Rodgers broke his foot Sunday and starter Brett Favre is held up by an elbow injury
Big Score 1
I guess this means McCarthy isn't completely comfortable in going with Ingle Martin, if Favre can't play Monday?
BeeR
oh cmon Favre would have to be dead to give up his most-starts-inarow-ever BS.

Riffraff
I guess this means McCarthy isn't completely comfortable in going with Ingle Martin Nope, 3 QBs on the roster = better than 2. Besides, they had an open roster spot to fill.

Ursa Majoris
What do bums like Bouman do when they're not on a roster? Do they just sit around on their ass waiting for the phone to ring or what? There never seems to be a problem instantly wheeling in a bunch of hasbeens and other dross to work out when a spot comes available. It's almost like there's a warehouse somewhere full of crappy old QBs - even Vinny and Jeff George are still on the warehouse inventory. They've got that 1-800-Dial-A-QB line & all the out of work scrub QB's have registered with it.

He wins a game or two when needed. He's a 3rd stringer. What's the minimum in the NFL now $477,000? I'd call NFL teams back too.
CaP'N GRuNGe
Just keep him away from hot tubs at snowmobile shows and he'll be fine.
Jackass
so if Favre gets knocked out of the game, who would come in?

Rockerbraves
Thought he was the Saints backup. Wow then who would the Saints bring in should Brees get hurt?
