CaptainHook
What happened to DeShaun Foster Sunday? Any update on his condition?
HowboutthemCowboys
X-rays on RB DeShaun Foster's injured elbow came back negative, but the results of the MRI have not been released and head coach John Fox told reporters that he won't have an update on his status until Wednesday. Foster hyperextended his elbow after falling awkwardly on his arm at the end of a 2-yard run in the second quarter during Sunday's game against the Rams. He was examined by the medical staff on the sideline and he was eventually taken to the locker room for further evaluation. Foster spoke with the media on Monday and said that he could have returned in the second half but with the Panthers in command of the game and rookie DeAngelo Williams running well there was no need for him to risk additional injury. It looks like we are going to have to wait until Wednesday for an update.
gilthorp
It was ugly Hook...I'd be amazed if he played this weekend.
PSULions
I was at the game and his run was right in front of where we sit (alas high up), but it looked like he was trying to prop up his body using his hand to get a few extra yards, but his arm locked up when he planted his hand. The way he was walking around the sideline and it did not look like he had any sort of sling he seemed like the Panthers were being cautious with him. Foster knows he will get a serious push from Williams and I am sure he wants to play this weekend. That being said I think Williams will start to get more touches this weekend regardless as he really is starting to show his big play ability. Hope that helps.
