Men In Tights
Quote from article... "Anyone who knows Tomlinson knows that smile is legit. Sponsors marvel at how he travels unfettered, without an entourage and without pretense. “I'm around him so much sometimes I forget how good he is on the field,” business manager Lamar Andrews said." First thanks McBoog for the great read and... To LT
Rockerbraves
Got to think he enjoyed himself more than the people who came out for the food. Has to be very gratifying to be able to do those kinds of things.
The Wolf
Thanks for the read McBoog. I have always enjoyed reading articles/hearing stories of people helping the less fortunate. What he does is awesome and should be emulated by everyone who can do so. What really got me was this: But others were like Nivera, and passed by to have their carts filled with turkey and trimmings without even a glance Tomlinson's way. Many didn't make eye contact with anyone. Tomlinson noticed. “A lot of these people, it takes a lot of courage to come out here and have people looking at them and these cameras,” he would say later. “They're saying, 'I don't care. I need this food.' That's incredible.” How many people would feel slighted at some people not expressing an outward thank you or gushing over what they just received? He helps because he genuinely wants to, not for publicity. That's a true human being. That said, Happy Thanksgiving, all!
blaw23
Great Read! LT is just a great guy all the way around. Too bad the NFL and other sports for that matter are not full of more guys like him!

Chief Dick
Good article McB. And as a Chiefs fan, I have always felt animosity towards the Broncos and Raiders, and before LT, the Chargers as well. But you can't help but root for this guy for what kind of person he is and the type of player he is. He's that one player in todays NFL where I can tell my grandkids: "You should have seen how LT ran."
