tonyr0802
How do you all respond to this? I've got a team in last place (that cannot make the playoffs) that just made a trade to a team holding the last playoff spot. Last place team trades away TO and gets Santana Moss and Tatum Bell. I don't like the trade myself, if you have no chance of making the playoffs I think you have no business making trades with teams still in the hunt. Not that this was blatant tanking, but I do think it falls in lines with it. What you do say?
LooGie
i think next year my league will be adopting a trade deadline for these very reasons..however I'm big into toilet bowls too, where we penalize the very worst team HEAVILY so people continue to trade and stay active just so they dont get in last place... KUBJPO01
We have a $25 penalty for last place team.

We have a $25 penalty for last place team. Since we have neither of these, no penalty for last place team, how do you feel about this trade? Is it not the responsibility of the last place team to not make these sort of moves? Not to mention, the team still in the playoffs...well he's the commish. Very classless move on his part IMO. Ramhock
Is there a reason for non-playoff teams to compete, like a HGOW award or some other way to win some gelt? If it is a redraft league, teams shouldn't be allowed to trade, once eliminated, if there is nothing to play for. If not, then it should be treated as any other trade. Wolv
Thats precisely why trade deadlines exist. Most leagues deadlines ended a week or 2 ago. If trades are still allowed, then there's not much you can do about it.
