Chadman
Going to be on the road all weekend, need to make a decision on Colston. As of now, I think I have to bench him, but doing that has killed me this year. I apologize if it's been listed already, couldn't find anything today. Any input is welcomed, thanks. There's no real change - personally I don't think he'll play. See the Friday injury report on the Huddle home page.
Wolverines Fan
Saw this at KFFL: Saints | Colston to be game-time decision Week 12 Fri, 24 Nov 2006 11:41:28 -0800 New Orleans Saints WR Marques Colston (knee) will be a game-time decision for the team's Week 12 game. Colston is listed as questionable for the game. I agree with Ursa. I doubt Coltson will play.
theeohiostate
Marques Colston (questionable, ankle) missed practice on Friday. Colston practiced fully on Thursday, so this isn't a good sign for his chances to play at Atlanta. He'll come down to a game-time decision, and his status will greatly affect Terrance Copper and Devery Henderson's value this week.
Jackass
if colston doesn't go, who's the better play between copper and henderson?
daboz
henderson jackass,,, sorry couldn't resist The speed could help get some big plays this week and he's the only guy running on all cylinders... I'm giving him the start.

BlueCrue
FWIW: According to the New Orleans Times-Picayune, Saints rookie WR Marques Colston hopes to play on Sunday against the Falcons after missing most of Friday's practice. He did not practice as an order by head coach Sean Payton to rest his ankle. "I'll probably go out there (Sunday morning) and work it out before the game, see what I can do and go from there," said Colston, who fully participated in Thursday's practice. "I've still got a couple more days. I'll come in here for treatment before we leave (Saturday)."
theeohiostate
The Saints "are confident" that Marques Colston will play Sunday, according to FoxSports.com's John Czarnecki. Like any early Sunday report, this one is only relevant for a few hours. Colston will test his ankle before game time before a decision is made, but this report suggests Colston's ankle sprain isn't that serious. Devery Henderson and Terrance Copper owners should check back around noon.

NSab
For the Saints, the team is very optimistic that WR Marcus Colston (ankle) will be able to start. He'll warm up a few hours before the game to determine his status. Backup WR Devery Henderson would start if Colston's can't play. Early info form another paid site. isleseeya
Thinking out loud ..if he does play , gotta beleive he will not be anywhere near 100 % , probably better to still go someone else this one week ...I have Colston and would love to use him but with an ankle sprain , very little practice and a game on astro turf this week it does not seem like he would be a smart play

I'm thinking this is such a big game that they may be playing him despite Payton not liking to start players in his situation. However, he's never been a speed guy and Brees will still look for him if he's in there. I'm definately going to keep a very close eye on it right up to gametime. Cordo
Listening to the Saints countdown to kickoff radio show. A few minutes ago, Kenny Wilkerson (sideline reporter for the Saints radio network) reported that Colston looked fine running straight ahead, but was obviously having some trouble making some hard cuts on the ankle. He watched Colston, Payton, and Curtis Johnson (Saints WR coach) talk, then have Colston run some more routes. Just Wilkerson's opinion, but he said he thought that Colston would be active and get 15 to 20 snaps today. One other thing he said that I'd not heard before now was that Horn tweaked his groin again in practice this week, and might be a bit limited today as well. theeohiostate
Marques Colston is inactive for the Saints on Sunday. Joe Horn gets a slight upgrade against DeAngelo Hall, Allen Rossum, and the Falcons. Colston missed practice on Friday but did put in a full workout Thursday so he seems to have a decent shot at starting in Week 13.
