theeohiostate
Vick, in his post game interview was caught on video, giving the F-U sign with his finger, not once, but twice to fans in Atlanta, while mouthing it too. Nice franchise playa' you have there, Falcons. Edited November 26, 2006 by theeohiostate

jjpro11
i would be willing to bet he will not wear a falcons uniform next year. he is sick of the whole franchise.
theeohiostate
I can only imagine what the Monday press conference will be about. Mora will have to answer more BS questions about the "coach killa'" Vick needs a change of scenery. Atlanta has went through several coaches, several offensive schemes and personel to fit Vicks needs and it's not working out there anymore. Baltimore would be a good fit. thecerwin
Matt Shaub would be a better QB, IMO.
Grits and Shins
Vick's contract is too fat for him to be traded and he won't be cut. There is not another team in the NFL that will take Vick and his fat contract
The Vatican Hitsquad
He is the highest paid. heh, Gil, is this goign to replace to 4-week-and-counting "VICK HATERS" shout out?

Hmmm....do you think the problem here is Vick and not all the people you specified above? It seems to me there is one common denominator here and it is Vick. Perhaps he is the problem and not the coaches, schemes, or personnel you are talking about. Face it: Vick has been in the league for 6 F'N YEARS now and it is the same thing year in and year out with him. He doesn't learn or maybe can't learn. Whatever the reason he IS NOT the franchise player everyone thought he would be. He is just another nfl player in a long line of players long on potential (and promise) and short on results. 6 years, my friend, is more than enough time to mature as a QB in this league. Most players would have been cut by now but the fact that his contract is so huge now he becomes a liablity. A change of scenery may do him good but don't count on it. Old habits die hard. CaptainHook
Wasn't his fault they lost today. Did you see his passes inside the red zone? While you can't place the blame solely at his feet, he was awful inside the 10 yard line, where they had to keep settling for FG's, and not TD's. Nah....I'm looking for a good spot for that as well. ....so for now.....argue that he's not the highest paid, girlie!!

While you can't place the blame solely at his feet, he was awful inside the 10 yard line, where they had to keep settling for FG's, and not TD's. On 33 rush attempts beyond Vick they averaged 3.29 yards. That's terrible, you can't pass when you can't keep the defense honest. The whole offense and defense struggled. I'm not condoning him giving people the finger but he's getting a lot of blame that is entirely correct. By your post it seems that you did watch the game so you know that your post is not entirely correct either.

FishFreak
There is no way he plays QB in Atlanta next year. Something will have to be worked out. It will be interesting to see where Maybe Randy Moss and Mike Vick end up next season. Both have big contracts, bad attitudes and declining value. It will be difficult to move these guys. My son's Pee-Wee football league team needs a QB. Vick can then win games single-handedly with his running ability. No need to throw. It's a win-win situation for him. With 5 dropped passes, Vick had to revert back to being unstoppable running since he has crap for WRs and offensive line. But hey, he could play 5 positions on the offensive line and be 3 WRs at the same time while being QB but the NFL doesn't let him.
