Vick does the bird

It's a Blitz post in a Vick thread, what did you expect? :D

And once again, one of the Vick zealouts has to attack the presenter of the argument and not the argument itself. This IS the last gasp of someone who has lost the debate. Trying to undermine Blitz by attacking him personally only makes his argument stronger. Don't you realize that?

dude, wake up and read the whole thread. not alot of people are disagreeing with him, he's just such tool in the way he debates, regardless of the subject. he has no insight, and his only goal is to irritate. I happen to agree with him, but he makes informed posters like me look less credible because we're on the same side.

So shut your ass. :D

This is true. I agree with Blitz about Vick, but the way that he presented his argument made him look like a complete mister.

nice. I guess I don't see the irritation you speak of but I also agree with him (and you) about Vick. As far as shutting my ass, well......no.

Vick, in his post game interview was caught on video, giving the F-U sign with his finger, not once, but twice to fans in Atlanta, while mouthing it too.

:D Nice franchise playa' you have there, Falcons.

But....but...but...he's the most EXCITING selfish derby who can't hit an open receiver in the NFL!!! Doesn't that count for something? :D

Vick apologizes for obscene gesture

NFL.com wire reports

ATLANTA (Nov. 26, 2006) -- Michael Vick apologized for making an obscene gesture toward Atlanta fans as he walked off the field after the Falcons' fourth straight loss.

Vick used both hands to deliver the gesture and flashed an angry look toward the handful of fans remaining in the Georgia Dome. Those who hung around booed the home team loudly after its dismal 31-13 loss to the New Orleans Saints.

"First and foremost, I would like to apologize for my inappropriate actions with fans today," the quarterback said in a statement released by the Falcons. "I was frustrated and upset at how the game was going for my team, and that frustration came out the wrong way."

Vick was the Falcons' main offensive threat with 166 yards rushing, just 7 off his NFL record for a quarterback. He had another rough day passing, completing nine of 24 for 84 yards, but that wasn't entirely his fault.

The Atlanta receivers dropped at least five passes, and the offensive line didn't provide much protection. Vick was sacked three times and hit a dozen more behind the line of scrimmage after throwing passes.

Leaving the field, he let his frustration get the best of him.

"That's not what I'm about. That's not what the Atlanta Falcons are about," Vick said in his statement. "I simply lost my cool in the heat of the moment. I apologize and look forward to putting this incident behind me."

yeah like manning whining about "protection problems" after his suck-ass game against the steelers in last year's playoffs. or brady and his little sideline temper tantrums. pure class.

this "protection problem" thing is the stupidest, most asinine thing anyone can say about the pure epitome of a classy NFL player.

He said "I'm trying to be a good team mate here...we had some protection problems..."

hey dumbass, they did have some protection problems. he ate dirt through the entire game. He didn't flip off any fans. He didn't say "i made my share of plays" and "if they could've blocked better i could've made more plays"

he said they had some protection problems, and then he want on to name some other problems they had throughout that game. He gave the defense credit, and even made sure to let them know he wasn't throwing anyone under the bus. They asked him why he lost, and he was telling them. If you're just gonna bash someone with no good points, just PM Grits all day. You two would will get along fine. Idiot.

:D RIGHT HERE...WHY? :bash:

I take it you weren't among the fans he flipped off. :D

boy oh boy, your insight on Vick is so interesting and well researched. I love how you continuously talk, yet say nothing. It's a great skill.

I can't believe you guys are just now figuring this out. How do you think he got his post count up so high?

As for Vick, he's showing his true colors. I'm glad it was the Saints that got him so pissed off.

Lets see, didn't SD trade Vick (or the number one pick) to Atl and got LT on the next pick plus I don't know what else.

Then SD traded Eli for Rivers/Merryman and kicker etc.

If SD calls on draft day hang up quick.

Drew Brees was picked in the second round of that draft with a pick from the Falcons. :D It should be noted that Vick and Eli both said that they would not play for the Chargerz. They both did the Chargerz a hugh favor.
